espn also shows the national lumberjacking finals. they have a lot of chanels to fill.

If you like to drink with a friend and wager on ridiculous sporting events that you know nothing about, then the lumberjacking games are for you. Highly recommended!

It's about time to get playing again, spring is just around the corner and we're already building cover items in the woods.

I'm buying a Dye Proto Rail in the next couple of weeks. 3 of my coworkers are buying A5's, one is getting a Spyder Pilot ACS, and the other is getting a BT-4... they've never played before. I've had about 3 years experience, used to shoot a Spyder TL-X. Very reliable guns, but it's time to upgrade. Gotta run nitrogen with the Proto, though. Luckily I have a gas sales place down the road from work that will fill any size tank, any gas for only $2.

They're also set to build a paintball field in downtown Moline (where paintball gun sales is banned) and there's one already on the outskirts of town.

We're looking to do a 12-12 24 hour scenario game going sometime in the summer with objectives to complete. I love to read about these kinds of games but it's all too expensive for me to travel so far for. Sometimes I wish I lived in California to play.

Good stuff, man. Always good to see a fellow woodsballer. How do you like running Nitro compared to CO2?? Is it worth the extra dough?

Spyder's are pretty decent guns. A friend of mine used E-99 for awhile. That thing could spray some freakin' paintballs.

I've always wanted to do a scenario game as well, they look like a blast.

my friend thought it would be funny to shoot me w/ it. it did sting, but i rubbed his forehead on the pavement. i thought that was funny but he learned his lesson
My gun shoots 900 balls a minute good luck getting near me. I want to freeze them and see how much damage a frozen paintballl would really do .

The Dye Proto shoots up to 30 bps, or so I've heard. That's about 2X as many... I'll cover as you crawl into the fetal position.

I haven't gotten the gun yet, so I don't know how the Nitrogen will work. It is better to shoot, though. No freezing or rusting.

Indeed. I hear Ego guns are the big thing now.

They make me drool... but I'm not dropping that kinda money on a gun. I'd go with a Dye DM8 before an Ego, though.

Anyone else know that UTK has a paintball team (club)?

i have a question my paintball gun.....is a spyder and when u put the air take on it it has the sound of leakin and i think the leakage is comiing from the silver wirring or w.e that connects the tank to the gun...what should i do

It's the braided line running from the tank to the gun. Take it off and then screw it back in. Try yellow gas thread tape on the threads if that doesn't work. You may also need to replace the line if that doesn't work.

What model of Spyder?

I got my gun last night, it's pretty effin sweet. I played today with 3 friends with my old gun (Spyder Shutter). It was cold and I screwed up my knee but I did get a bunch of kills, while only being knocked out twice (first and last games).
