I see great athletes with potential to be excellent basketball players. I see no player development, however. I also see no offensive system that allows anyone to progress. If that's improved, you'll see our players improve.
But where are the ball handlers, the shooters, the actual basketball skills? Agreed that there's no development and no system, but other than Tobias Harris everybody Pearl has brought in just seems incredibly raw. I guess Pearl's philosophy is to bring in athletic guys under the belief that he can refine their skills once he gets them on campus, but if so then it's flat-out not working.

When did you mention odds?

My comment wasn't guaranteeing anything either way. Yours implied that assuming I one direction was the lone way to be ignorant, which was incorrect. You mentioned it was equally ignorant to assume a coach can or can't continue the tourney appearances/wins. If you could guarantee the same amt, or more, tourney wins over the next 5 yrs as the last 5, I'm fine with moving on.
Hey, were you on 3 hr lunch in nashville today? Guy named bigpoppavol called in.
He has been pathetic at recruiting point guards. I readily agree with that. But, I think our lack of structure offensively just doesn't utilize the skill that our players do have.
They could screen and learn to use them. The lackadaisical way we slough through our offense is absolutely disgusting.I'm not sure what kind of offensive structure you could design that would work around a roster that has no point guards, no shooters, and no skilled post players.

Hmmm. Interesting. The OP takes pleasure using his catch phrase of calling people idiots and being clueless. Now he starts a thread calling people out for changing positions on Pearl, while saying he should be relieved of his duties.
Here's his first post from a thread he started a few days ago:
"I've long maintained that if Pearl could get less than 1 year suspension then I wouldn't argue with retaining him."
Nice thread calling out yourself.
