The Pembroke Postgame Report-Kentucky

I see where you are coming from, though. Who knows how the season will end. As long as we don't play Kentucky again, we may win the SEC tournament. It's possible. We just don't match up very well against them at all. I wouldn't be suprised if we finished poorly, however, I wouldn't be suprised if we finished strong either.

after seeing both of what this team can do and hasnt done all season i wouldnt be surprised either way.. but it would be best to prepare yourself for the worse considering how bad they have been playing recently

"Expect the worst and hope for the best." --That's usually the words I subscribe to during this time of year.

10. Needing a win to keep it's NCAA hopes alive, Providence gives up 103 points at home. That Keno Davis is a genius.

I mentioned last year that I like him. I know that you dont but he looked great beating Pitt. I think he is a very good coach.

I, too, think Davis is a fine coach. If he gets them in the tourney it will be the first time since the 03-04 season. And in what has been the toughest conference in that time period.

If the best he can do is produce a bubble team with a group as experienced as the one he has, he's not long for the Big East. Seton Hall and Cincinnati will pass them up so badly in the pecking order next season it will lack comedic value.

Well, his team is experienced but they dont have the athletes the other conference schools have. I doubt they will ever get those athletes. A bubble team in this conference with the skill players they have is good in my book.

You do realize Rick Pitino took Providence to the Final Four and Pete Gillen got them to the Elite Eight, don't you? It's not like he's at South Florida.

3. Bruce Pearl is now 1-3, with the none win being a 2 point win with Patrick Patterson sidelined and Jodie Meeks playing with a hernia, against Billy Gillispie. There's a lesson to e learned there..

What lesson is to be learned that Bruce Pearl is also 6-1 versus Billy Donovan, a 2-time NATIONAL Championship coach? Even more so is the fact that the one loss was when Lofton was out with an injury. And EVEN MORE SO is the fact that 2 of the wins were last year with Lofton recovering from Cancer Surgery. By the way, Lofton was still recovering during that "one win" versus the beloved Gillispie.

Your love affair with BCG is very apparent. However, it is not necessary to take every possible opportunity to bash the coach of the team you are supposedly a fan of.

I didn't take it as bashing....I took it as stating the facts.

When it comes from Hat, its bashing. He's made it very well known he doesn't care for Bruce.

And my statement is also facts. There are two sides to every coin. Looking at one side and one side only is the epitomy of bias.
