then you haven't been paying attention. KY has to win the east to get into the tourney. They have nothing decent on their resume. Nothing.
We win the home games, we're fine. Save a couple, our losses are to tourney teams. KY can't make a similar claim.I would think at this point we would need to win the east as well to get in or atleast make the semis in the sect
the win over Marquette has the potential to drastically lose its value with their next four games

what's the claim? that they beat us twice. We're a middlin' bubble style underachieving team. How does that help them. Marquette, on the other hand, is a very competitive team with arguably the best backcourt in the country. The problem is that those couple have occurred recently and those are heavily looked at by the committee
UK isnt in that much of a better situation than us but they can make a claim that we cannot argue with

Yep, and he is getting away from the original argument in an attempt to stack it in his favor.
no it wouldn't. Then we would have no wins over any decent teams. Marquette is a quality tourney team because of guard play. KY is potentially going to miss the tourney altogether.
here's the problem with the argument. Lipstick on a pig just doesn't get the job done (at least where I live).the original argument was that the win against Marquette is not our saving grace because we have too many bad losses and im arguing the fact that I would rather have lost to Marquette and be in 1st place in the east especially considering how bad the sec is this year
