Two oddities from watching on TV.

1. The benches were on the wrong side of the court. It takes away from the game not being able to watch the bench and coaches work.

2. Mark Gottfried is a sunshine pumper. All he did all night was talk about how great everything was. Skyler, Steven, etc...then to say UT has the best team in the SEC right after saying Vandy would probably win the league at the end of the season. The guy makes no sense.

I totally agree! I believe Cameron Indoor is like that as well which always bothers me.

I don't understand why we are not getting Kenny Hall minutes in these blowouts. He is going to be starting next year and he needs the experience.

+1

Especially last night and same thing for Maymon and Woolridge. What was the point of bringing Skylar and SP back in in the last 10 mins? Why not get those other guys some time?

It's the camera angle, not the benches. Camera is on other side of arena.

I don't believe so. The camera set ups are arranged so the court logos are readable. Had the cameras been on the other side, everything on the court would have been upside down on TV.

hat,

On a side note have your feelings changed at all about Mike Brey?
I discussed this in the Trap last week. What he's done from the time Harangody got injured last season til now has been very impressive. Of course, it helps to have a bunch of seniors executing your plan.

Steven pearl is probably the best man-to-man defender in the SEC and noone wants him to play.
I respectfully disagree unlike others (not that ANYONE with a life outside of the internet cares what others on here may think, some people will NEVER grow up). That said, he does have the biggest heart. That I agree.

Jeffrey taylor looks a whole lot better doing but its amazing how effective pearl has become at his ugly brand of defense. Its uncanny how he just physically removes the basketball from the offensive player at such a high rate.

Wade's last team wasn't even the worst in the SEC. Ole Miss was even more pathetic. They simply had the benefit of being on the West.

You are going to have a very hard time convincing me of that considering a 10 point loss to ULAR at home among others. Ole Miss was bad, but they still scraped together a .500 season that year somehow.

Harris still needs work on his shot. Auburn's new arena looked small; and empty in the 2nd half. Auburn's pom pom girls looked like crap, along with the tops they were wearing.

The good news is they save a lot of money not having to buy any chest support products.

I've met Brey on a few occasions and he is a very nice and likeable guy. I've always thought he would be utilized better as an assisant on an NBA team. He is extremely good at developing talent.
