7. Mark Gottfried's enfatuation with Steve Pearl and Skylar McBee is beginning to become disconcerting. If he thinks they are that great, it certainly explains why Alabama fell off the cliff with him in charge.

Does shed some light on why he is currently unemployed in the coaching ranks now doesnt it?

You are going to have a very hard time convincing me of that considering a 10 point loss to ULAR at home among others. Ole Miss was bad, but they still scraped together a .500 season that year somehow.

I'm fairly sure we beat Ole Miss that year.
