I would say grabbing the rim on a layup and not having goaltending called is about as "egregious" as it gets. Even Dykes said we got 2 stolen from us.

Yeah, and he said the same thing about Kentucky when Tatum got to the line on an obvious charge. But as a whole, it wasn't egregious.

We were so bad that i didn't even notice how the officiating was.

He's one of the SEC leaders in rebounds. He is most definitely not a joke. He's what you call a solid and tough player. Something we don't have.

Hopson played tough tonight. Harrelson is slow and we definitely didn't box out at all tonight.

Poke fun all you like, but its the truth. The hippo is doing something right while leading the league in boards. I would worry more about the two soft bigs you have rather than coming up with witty barbs for someone elses. Just saying.

One lucky game points wise.

This team is ridiculously selfish....we still don't pass the ball on fast breaks. Also, the play where the Uk player took the ball from 3 of ours about summed up our effort tonight. It was pathetic....

yep, we could have a 4 to 1 and miss a layup. We need to be more physical going to the cylinder.

Getting 15 more and making the most of the foul shots doesnt suck either. Free throws what a concept. They are free for a reason.

Definitely didn't cost us the game, but that play would have cut it to 5 and then they blew us out. They just seem to get a lot of calls at home, which still had nothing to do with tobias or cam's play tonight.

Harrelson is Usain Bolt compared to Brian Williams.

Not true at all. Harrelson is the James Buster Douglas to Brian Williams being Mike Tyson. Harrelson is a one ht wonder never to be seen or heard from again other than asking "Do you want fries with that"? after his receiving his degree.

Then Kentucky would have beaten us by two points less.

You must be the first person to ever ask that question.

I'm saying under those circumstances. I don't have an issue with him coming in to post up, get rebounds, passing, etc. If he's drawing defenders away, but if people are going to just straight up ignore him, he should sit on the bench. Why not adjust in game?

A few observations: Jimmy Dykes is a joke -how many times tonight did he talk about driving it to the "nail". He always picks some stupid motif and just wears it out. Remember "shadow defender" a few years ago? Tatum was just terrible and so soft tonight. Since when did grabbing the rim when shot is on the backboard stop being goaltending - no team in America, maybe with the exception of UNC or Duke, gets more calls. Refs were a joke, not that it mattered.

You aint the only one that seen it.

John Bagley was a decent NBA player. Steve Pearl's offensive game would be subpar in most decent men's rec leagues.

Just wondering if he was that incapable, I pretty much only watch Vermont games on TV. That said, what do you think of Lonergan as a coach, hat?

Not sure that's an accurate way to analyze that - momentum plays a big factor in road games. I just can't believe the overall effort tonight.

lol. Hate to tell you guys, but Josh Harrellson is a better basketball player than Brian Williams. Like, easily.

Weak, soft, lazy, uninspired were just a few thoughts I had watching this game in regards to the way the Vols played...

Tonight he was (although the disparity was really ugly with Fields in the game). That's as far as I'll go.

Not his season high. 5 double/doubles. Williams and Fields have a combined 1 double/double. You guys are butt hurt over getting dominated down low by a guy like Josh, and I don't blame you. However, he's a better player than you give him credit for.

You guys must live in some alternate universe where the Brian Williams you watch isn't slow, lazy, and soft around the rim. For every 1 good play the guy makes he'll give up another easy rebound, miss a layup, and create a 3 point play for the other team. He's a net negative player. We'll be better when he graduates.
