The Pembroke Postgame Report

Yeah I played against Barry Booker when I played HS baseball; he seems like a nice guy, but he's no John Ward.

5. I'll be ecstatic when Raycom is no more. Tim Brando and Barry Booker are an embarrasssment to their profession.

ACC coverage definitely gets the better Raycom talent.

Tim Brant is one of the better play-by-play guys period, and Dan Bonner and Mike Gminski are decent color guys.

By the way, if your name is longer than 5 letters, you face an uphill battle gaining employment there:

I, for one, am glad that for the first time in a long time Chism posted up in a critical, late game situation.

I think you have to consider shooting ability a physical tool. At the very least, you would have to consider the ability to develop a good shot as a physical tool. In other words, you can not attribute great shooting ability to practice alone. I could practice shooting three pointers as a full time job and I would never be able to shoot them like Steve Kerr. Thus, Steve Kerr has a physical tool that I do not have.

With that being said, I do not think Ramar had every physical tool necessary to become a pro.

Kentucky produced a pretty good pro point who couldn't shoot a couple of years ago who seems to be doing ok in the league. Ramar had the size and athleticism. His shot was a negative, but not nearly so much as his head at times.

Whats your thoughts on auburn? I know vandy beat them, does that tell me all i need to know?

Auburn is simply bad. Anything other than a comfortable win tomorrow constitutes a bad performance.
I would agree except the game is on the road, and with this team anything can happen. although, now that I think about it, we have a better road record than at home. You're right...we should win by double digits.

I'd take C.J. Watson over any point gaurd mentioned in this thread.

Glad he is finally getting his shot in the NBA, it is well deserved.

Go Vols!!

good point. I'd take Chris Paul right now , straight up, over any guard on our roster.

Speed>Strength in the Association as I'm sure you know.
I love it when you make generalzations about a subject where you are totally clueless. How quick is Jason Kidd? Deron Williams? If your ridiculous proclamation held water, Williams would be in the NBDL and his college teammate Dee Brown would be playing 30 plus minutes a night in the league.

Those guys also have jumpshots, which Ramar and Rondo do not whatsoever.
You're actually going to state in public that Jason Kidd is a good jumpshooter? If you had any credibilty, that will take care of it.

I still don't see your enthusiasm for Ramar. Sure, he can penetrate. He can't shoot from the field, he can't shoot FT's, he can't shoot from range and his court vision is nothing special.
