A pop warner coach could see you run straight at a team blitzing like that, They finally did and Hurd broke one. Of course they stopped. TN needs an offensive coordinator to be competitive.
Again, Worley just fires to a spot. No look off, no check down, nothing. Then again perhaps it's a foolish thought given that embarrassment of an o line.
That's what I'm sayin. 1st down on the 4 yard line and you run it 4 times to score. Worst case scenario, turnover on downs at the 1 yard line and let our D work em!

I truly believe our defense has kept us in this game that we could have won this game with better play calling. We have to learn from this because SEC play will not be any easier. Quick passes have to be key to our offense as well as screens. Worley has been sacked so much tonight because we are running longer routes that take time to develop. This is absolutely terrible play calling and we need to see a fix. CBJ surely will address this. I haven't given our D enough credit so far this year but they have played extremely well and tbh I wouldn't blame them for quitting now. Offensive side of the ball has been pitiful and the play calling is direct result. Sure Worley made a bad read on the 3rd and 2 but that play shuld have never been called in the first place. Very disappointed with the offensive play calling this game. Lets regroup this bye week and make a gameplan that actually makes sense.
