Yeah; I'm somewhat more a classic liberal than my score. While agreeing to a default position of more individual liberty, I couldn't 'Strongly Agree' on some points.
I heard it said by someone that all governments and societies are tyranny, but it's a matter of degree. I agree with that by continued participation. A constitutional republic is the best tyranny man has devised yet.

Right where I expected to be. Don't conflate me thinking trump is an assclown with being on the left. Hell, I'm quite sure I'm further right than most of this forum on fiscal issues.

It's impossible to see it if you're viewing it like Democrats are left of the median voter (which you would be accurate in that assessment). The graph isn't saying they are the median voter though, it's saying they're around the middle of all the political ideologies from which you can choose. Think of it like this...they're saying the GOP is closer to neoconservatism than the Democratic party is to Maoists, which is accurate.

I'm not saying they're exactly right, I'm just saying that's the logic.
