The Return Of Chris Jericho

I predict a HUGE mark-out-worthy return, a couple of big matches, and then.....

nothing. the upper mid card with the occasional top level program, yet again. Nothing spectacular.

I have ALWAYS been a big Jericho fan, but the poor guy is just NEVER gonna be a serious top draw.

however, I was in DC for Summerslam 05 and the biggest 50/50 split chant I've ever heard--"Let's go Cena" "Let's Go Jericho" Literally the entire building, yelling for one or the other.

Huge Jericho fan right here.

I'm thinking the promo that's been airing is gonna be Jericho's new intro video, with a countdown on it. I hope he has his old music too.

If he doesn't see TNA as a threat, he's not paying attention. They havethe better product now. It's only a matter of time before fans realize that.

I'm not sure that TNA is a better product, yet, but at least they understand that the fans don't want to see the owner and his family in front of the camera every week.

TNA = WCW

Signing aging superstars will get you some success now, eventually WWE will come back with young talent.

Only if Vince takes time out of his self indulgent storylines to actually acquire some new talent. The two best young guys in the business are AJ Styles and Chritopher Daniels, and they both work for Jeff Jarrett.

when does TNA come on?

it sounds like i may need to check it out.

Thursdays on Spike.

It's not bad...I watch it more regularly than Raw now.

There's good talent at TNA. The aforementioned Styles and Daniels...Christian...Booker T....Kurt Angle. And then there are the big names from the 90's - Hall, Nash, the Steiners, Dustin Rhodes, Jim Cornette, Sting, the New Age Outlaws, and the Dudleys.

I can't stand the announcers. But the wrestling is pretty good.

Agreed...I never liked Mike Tenay. And Don West is obnoxious. Does anyone else remember Don West selling autographs, jerseys, cards, and other sports memorabilia on late night TV in Nashville? He was all "We're going CRAZY!! CALL IN NOW!!! For 4 easy payments of 49.99, you're getting not one - but TWO KEN GRIFFEY JR. ROOKIE CARDS!!!...you'll also get the AROD Rookie card...the Norm Charlton, Rob Dibble, Jose Rio autographed baseball!! and a gem mint condition bottle of andro signed by Mark McGwire!! We've never, ever, in the history of the world, offered a deal like this! I can't believe how crazy we are for offering such an unbelievable deal!! Call us right now!"

Anyone else remember that?.......Anybody?.......nope?...Just me?
