The Rock is under attack!!!

Just slightly less.

Average in the 3.0 range. MTSU doesn't report specifics, but they only require a high school 2.7.

By comparison, 64% of UT students have above a 3.75 coming in.

About the only thing MTSU is good for is music, so I can understand why some of their kids would want to pretend to go to UT for an evening.

I teach at UT and the number is actually quite higher. 65% of all incoming freshmen have a GPA of 4.0. 90% have a GPA of 3.75 or higher.

I won't tell you what those GPA's drop to after the first year.. lol

I got into UT with a 3.3 unweighted GPA for next fall. I did have good SAT's and a lot of AP classes though.

Once again it's all apples and oranges. A 4.0 from Cannon County high school mean a lot less than a 4.0 from Farragut High School. I've known a lot of kids who get into UT with sub-3.0 GPAs whose daddy's make "contributions" to UT. Whole argument is stupid. But the hippy who said Farragut is "soulless" really is retarded. Your "old money" on Bearden hill aka brown squirrel furniture is a nice story.

And they take that into consideration. My friends at McCallie had much lower GPAs and got into UT while some of my friends at Ooltewah didn't get in with around 3.5s to 3.7s and average ACTS. They did get into utc, mtsu, etsu, etc though.

Sorry you're stuck at a school comparable to Memphis High, bromeo.

I obviously aren't current on either these days. Does MTSU have more students than UT-Knoxville?

I think they typically have similar undergrad, but overall enrollment at UT is bigger since very few go to MTSU for graduate programs.

UT has def upped it's standards though. When I was younger it was the fall back school for all the idiots in my high school. But now those people go to either MTSU or UTC. The average ACT score for the most recent group of Freshman was 26.7, with an average GPA of 3.87. But I would say GPA does not mean as much because I had a 4.0 in high school, and ended UT with a 3.0.

MTSU's avg was 21.9

As they should. They earned the right to. Sad but true. We chocked and they took advantage. On the bright side, Martin has a couple extra timeouts in his pocket for next year.

Did you eat paint chips as a panty wearing kid? No one touches the ROCK unless your a VOL period.

I guess we should roll Toomers corner next time we win down there and see how well that goes over with their fan base.

They're fortunate it was spring break and no one saw em.

The only time the pansies could do it was when nobody was around to beat their asses.

Like I said, they just wanted to pretend they go to UT.
