Lol. Better aerospace program that's funny. Nursing is the only better program mtsu has that both universities offer. UTs engineering is one of the better public universities - especially one as large as the mechanical/aero/biomedical one at UT.

... you realize that Tennessee isn't even ranked in the Top 100 "overall" for non-liberal arts universities in America, right? Tennessee isn't Stanford trashing Cal State Bakersfield.

I would be ashamed to go there. I'd rather goto Memphis or utc.

Someone sounds insecure about their education. I'm surprised you find time to do anything, let alone get a college degree, with those 20k posts of yours. Now run along to your ATO alumni meeting.

I'm sorry you have to live in that ****hole and went to that sad excuse for a university, haha. I forgive you though.

And it looks like Sigma Pi.

I said public universities. And the engineering program at UT is one of the better public universities... the nuclear ranks top 10 in the nation.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. But then again, I'm sure your job doesn't require a college education.

Wow, people getting upset about poor little MTSU painting the rock. I'm born and raised in Knoxville, and my free time is consumed by UT athletics. But I went to school at MTSU, and I've got to say that the joke is on UT graduates. Sure, some of you probably have degrees from really good programs where it actually matters where you attended school. But for the other 80% of us out there who got degrees in business or communications, we paid probably on average 40% less than you did. Everyone knows that job placement is all about the candidate and opportunities within the job market...not about the letterhead on a piece of paper (under normal circumstances). I got out alive after spending only approx $22K and now have a better job than my friends in similar situations because I fought for it. So, there's my two cents in support of an MTSU education...a good value if you want it to be. As it pertains to athletics, this was the highlight of the decade for so called "MTSU fans" (they have no true fans). They'll come back down to earth next year and will be relegated to their rightful place as mid-major cellar dwellers.

I guess that depends. If you're referring to the lottery scholarship, then yeah, it's a good deal. I graduated high school one year before it went into effect...couldn't take advantage of the program. Still, the numbers are what they are - MTSU is less expensive and gives you the opportunity to learn as much or as little as you want...same as any other school.

MTSU has painted the rock in their colors and the score. I am currently working and am not carrying paint, or I would had done something.

:no:anyone who thinks a visiting team should be able to paint the rock is a disgrace to Big Orange Country

Funny, I thought we had a College of Arts & Sciences; i.e. Liberal Arts. You know, all those hippie courses like Economics, Mathematics, and Biology.

Guess my diploma is wrong.

Anyone comparing Murfreesboro to Knoxville and calling it trash is a moron. No offense, but Knoxville is a cesspool.

Agreed. I love Knoxville it's where I grew up, but to say its nicer than Murfreesboro is just ignorant. Farragut is nicer than Murfreesboro, but Knoxville as a whole is not. Downtown is a dump.
