I just don't understand why Pearl allows this to continue. Surely this isn't what they coach in practice. The players are either not executing what they are being taught, lack discipline and aren't being held accountable or this is what they are being taught to do; either way it's on Pearl.
The two games are somewhat comparable, but different at the same time. Cuse played horrible and still lost on a last second play. UT's outcome was obviously different. However, both games serve the same purpose as a wake up call. (hopefully for the Vols)

I'm not surprised the Usual Suspects have shown their golden nuggets after this "dumpster fire". Anyone who feels this is nothing more than a Thom Yorke-blip on a keyboard is a moron....
This doesn't even make sense. No one on here is saying the season's over. But to pretend like that there is any reason at all for optimism after that crap we saw last night is stupid.
No optimism? Really?
I'm usually the ultimate "It's over!" person, but seriously, that is overload right here. Was it ugly? Yes. However, we have a top 20 caliber team. This team is going to struggle to find it's groove. We lost three good senior players. And while we have talent, we aren't replacing them with NBA 1st round picks (except Tobias). So patience is key here. Reminds me a little bit of Pearl's 2nd team where the team struggled in the OOC part of the schedule, because they had to implement four new freshman, but once they found the chemistry, they became very good, and made an excellent tourney run.
Right. I'd say Tennessee will still win 20 games. But they'll fold like a cheap tent against a good team that plays zone D well and has good ball handling. That's pretty much everyone in the tournament.
Hopefully they improve and fix these glaring weaknesses, so they can make a run. They did so last year right when it counted most, so you never know.
