Probably a little of all of it. His knee situation has to take out some fire too.
Honestly, he's a supremely talented player and has just let it fritter away. Some of our lack of player development has to fall to the staff and their approach.
Serious question, who is coaching shooting for this team and videoing daily to track progress. Who is doling out weekly shooting charts and practice "suggestions?"

Excellent question. I was thinking about this today. The ability to shoot a basketball is a function of, among a couple other factors, simple repetition (See: Allen, Ray or Lofton, Chris).
The simple repetition part appears to be lacking.
If bad knees make you stand around and watch as the ball is shot and comes off the board, get them fixed. If bad knees make you leave Miller to lazily reach in on a 3-15 Jones at the key, get them fixed. That's just a combination of laziness, lack of ball iq and lack of instinct. Ridiculous for a RS jr.
Do you think we told them not to help off the 3 shooters? There's some weak defensive coaching and afterthought approach to team rebounding going on there. It's not like Hopson doesn't do the same.

If youre told not to leave and do, curtains. If you do it weekly, the coaching sucks. The players were not to leave Miller. It also shouldn't take a coach to remind them not to leave Miller, especially to lazily reach in on their 4 up top. I know some of you guys despise BP, but the coaches are not responsible for every mistake on the court. Scotty and Cam just fade in and out during the game. Very frustrating for everybody.
Not the first week it has happened (nor second, nor third). Hell, it isn't the first year.
