The warnings are getting starker: Trump's government shutdown is becoming catastrophic for the economy
Zero GDP? Negative GDP? 800,000 out of work. He's putting it all on the line for something that's of marginal benefit to the country at best.
Said like a man who can’t wait to build defensive fortifications using the bodies of his neighbors.I do not.
I believe our economy works in spite of, not because of, government. I further believe that a partial shutdown will not be a meaningful impact to the economy.
Yeah, sure Septic.
Soon you’ll be back to saying you’re just trolling.
For real, I’m glad you’ve come out of the closet.

Who would need a bailout if it weren't for the Republican policies continually resulting in economic crises?Sounds like an emergency ripe for a shovel ready project to bail it out. Surely the Dims with their Obamaesque crisis management can see the need for tossing billions at shovel ready projects in times of crisis ... they set the precedent for that and being duplicitous. Funny, though, I don't recall seeing a final report regarding Pelosi's field mice or any other of the other top Dim stimulus agendas.
I'm not sure it's a dire emergency, but it will definitely take a bite. The president is the primary mover in this case and thus properly takes the blame. If this is such a dire emergency why isn’t congress working on a veto proof bill to save our country? When will we stop pretending the president holds all the power?

Maybe you should be an economic advisor to the White House.
WH economic adviser says damage to economy from shutdown is a 'little bit worse' than predicted
I would rather work around pigs all day long for free than around politicians for money. At least the pigs are honorable and clean on the inside.Maybe you should be an economic advisor to the White House.
