Absolutely. It's like pressey for Missouri...he can shoot horribly but his effect with assists and getting the O going is invaluable. We don't win the game without josh and that says something about him.

I enjoyed this game so much, for the first time, i thought about starting a post, so thanks for this one..I am so proud of the way our team showed heart, grit, toughness, and all the other good things that can be said..I like many others became frustrated many times during this season, but never was one to ask to remove CCM, and not because i agreed with everything he did, but the fact that the team never seemed to give up..I would never be one to praise him when we went on that streak last year, and when things don't work out the way we want, call him an idiot, and ask for his job..I am not going to say anything about what some ppl term as NegaVols, but what i will say is...I AM A TENNESSEE VOL FAN, and no matter what the sport (could be underwater basket weaving), i will never, ever give up on any of our teams, nor will i say, i am done watching them, no matter the win-lose record..The difference between CCM winning games now, and losing all those earlier, is simply our team making shots, and the emergence of Trey & Jarnell, playing like the stars we need them to be on this team, and McCrae doing what he does..Big ups to every player on this team, no matter how much time they get on the floor..The main reason i will always support CCM, is because of the look the players on the bench have had throughout the 2 years he has been our coach...There are players that play a lot for a stretch of games, then don't get in for several games, but the look in their eyes say.."WE ARE A TEAM, AND NO MATTER IF I PLAY OR NOT, I AM READY WHEN THE COACH NEEDS ME"..That is the sign of a good coach, his players not giving up on him or their teammates....So for the long statements i made, and i will leave it like this...GREAT WIN FELLAS, U MADE THE VOL FAMILY VERY PROUD...

Tennessee was just on ESPN! (Despite their hatred for us) The anchor said "Martin's boys are getting on a streak and they are hot!"

I don't know if this has been asked but if we lose to Florida(will be a great game), do we still have a shot of making the NCAA tourney? Or is every game a must win?

We just got back from the game.. Here is my post game report..lol sat with some other vol fans it was fun..

If we lose one and win the rest, we'll basically be a 50/50 (kind of like last year). But if we win out, we're almost certainly in. This is all assuming we at least get past the first round of the SEC tourney

That's a tough one to answer. I personally think we need to win all 4, that will put us at 20 wins. Plus I think we need a strong showing in the SEC tourny. If we lose to one of the last 4 then I would think we would have to win the SEC tourny. That's just my opinion and I'm sure others on here have different opinions.

Mizzou, no doubt. We need UK out of the tournament picture and Missouri is probably in. Plus we have Mizzou at home last game of the season so it will beef up a resume even more if we can get a win against a ranked team.

I see what you're saying, but our RPI will still be relatively high assuming our only loss is to a Florida or Missouri in these next few games. Plus our SOS is still top 40, we barely missed out last year. And if we go 3-1 in this next stretch I believe we'll have a stronger resume than last year. But I can easily see us getting left out at 3-1 as well with how weak the SEC is this year

sorry, but that makes no sense...the guys coming off the bench should have been ready to go in 5 minute spurts. UT did not sub their guys at all in the ot periods....they would've been gassed before the bench players for TAM

Thanks guys. I've been trying to keep track of the bubble teams at this point and see how they are doing, but we control our own destiny. Can't wait for Tuesday. GO VOLS!

Totally agree. As much as it pains me, I'm pulling for Florida vs Arky. The win for Florida really does nothing for us but Arky it provides another quality win and as you said they have a win over us.

GOD is starting to shine on the Vols again in all phases, plus Bama getting players with steroids, players kicked out for robbing! Bama getting beat in 3 ot's today. We are on the way back!

We need to get to 20 wins to have a chance. So we could lose to Florida and win the rest to be 19-11...we would then obviously need at least 1 win at the SECT to have a chance.

Speaking of the tourney, it's feasible we could work ourselves into a double-by. I'm personally hoping we can finish 5th or 6th in the conference so we can get a chance at another relatively easy conference win. We need W's right now in the worst way.

Great game today. Someone already mentioned it, but it reminded me of the UT-Arky 6-OT game in Neyland.
