I’m not involved in this protest.....I still wear Nikes even though there product is no where near as good as it use to be.... They were starting to be caught by other shoe manufacturers and they decided to play the American public like a puppet..it works on both sides bc the American people are so gullible

I'm not taking sides on this, but when you sit through the anthem, you've made it about the anthem by definition.

That's like slapping your wife and then telling her it had nothing to do with her.

Except they haven't caused any physical harm to an innocent bystander.

I haven't claimed any harm. I've merely pointed out how stupid it is to boycott something and claim it has nothing to do with what you're boycotting. Pure stupidity.

Sure thing, huff. Use whatever pedantic vocabulary you wish. When standing for the anthem/flag has been the sign of respect for the anthem/flag, it's stupid beyond measure to sit through it while claiming it has nothing to do with it. As a matter of fact, if sitting through the anthem wasn't a boycott of some sort, they wouldn't be sitting. And they wouldn't be dying on this hill.

Let me say it again... I couldn't care less. I'm just saying that it's a stupid claim to make.

I thought you said you aren't picking sides. Since when is kneeling a sign of disrespect? If you don't care, why do you talk about it so much? Why do you use words like "sit" and "boycott" when they aren't accurate?

I'm not picking sides. I think they have every right to sit, unless the NFL says otherwise. And I flipped between two NFL games yesterday. Their sitting doesn't affect me in the least.

I can be ambivalent and still express how stupid that statement was.
