"Die on your feet before you live on your knees"..
I actually feel a little bad for the players. I mean, I really do get that a few of the players have issues, heck I do too.
Why in the hell are we in Syria, and why are we still in Afghanistan, if Trump would get out of that crap... I would probably be full on board with him. He needs to get his act together.
With that said, these NFL owners should have solved this last year, with that said, I don't feel sorry for the teams... these billionaires sucking public funds like they are above it all is kind of hard to watch. So, maybe some good will come of this. The biggest question I have, is do we really have a country... what does that mean? If we all don't all have a common bond... exactly what do we have? Imo, nothing.
At this point, the players are irrelevant, so I do feel bad if a few of them felt let down by the country. However, I think they are missing a key factor -- there will always be problems, nothing is perfect. If you are looking for perfection, you won't find it here or anywhere... most places are going to be much worse. I would like to see the NFL go the way of the dinosaur, they offer really nothing at this point other than a symbol of cronyism to me -- maybe if they change I will but until then.... I won't hold my breath waiting.
I am hoping some of these players can save face, but they really need to think going forward. imo
