site for those who are unhappy with the USA. Buy them boat tickets and send them to Nigeria, North Korea, South
Africa, or somewhere they will be happy.
If I were one of these cry babies, I would catch a boat and leave this terrible country.

Why a boat? Wouldn't a plane be faster?

"Die on your feet before you live on your knees"..

I actually feel a little bad for the players. I mean, I really do get that a few of the players have issues, heck I do too.

Why in the hell are we in Syria, and why are we still in Afghanistan, if Trump would get out of that crap... I would probably be full on board with him. He needs to get his act together.

With that said, these NFL owners should have solved this last year, with that said, I don't feel sorry for the teams... these billionaires sucking public funds like they are above it all is kind of hard to watch. So, maybe some good will come of this. The biggest question I have, is do we really have a country... what does that mean? If we all don't all have a common bond... exactly what do we have? Imo, nothing.

At this point, the players are irrelevant, so I do feel bad if a few of them felt let down by the country. However, I think they are missing a key factor -- there will always be problems, nothing is perfect. If you are looking for perfection, you won't find it here or anywhere... most places are going to be much worse. I would like to see the NFL go the way of the dinosaur, they offer really nothing at this point other than a symbol of cronyism to me -- maybe if they change I will but until then.... I won't hold my breath waiting.

I am hoping some of these players can save face, but they really need to think going forward. imo

Trump has tweeted about this subject 19 times since Saturday. This is deliberate overkill. He wants to shift the focus from yet another failed attempt to repeal and replace the ACA. He is also an incredibly divisive social force.

He's also on the right side of the issue therefore he should continue to play the winning hand.. to look great when kids at little league football take a knee or at a high school football games ... really great image

No, its a strategy, he uses the same strategy over and over. The owners are going to have to come up with a fix, or it probably won't get better. The players allowed the owners to use them as a pawn.

The ACA is irrelevant, that collapses on its own, as it was incredible stupid to start with. Nobody wants to own the next failure, as that will not work either.

Image...you said it yourself. Trump'a number one priority is to address something that is purely symbolic, forget about accomplishing anything practical. There is absolutely no substance to be gained from this. He's inspired more people to kneel. How is he winning?

When is he going to put Hillary in jail?

How is he winning?

He won the moment the players/owners responded to his tweets on Sunday, the players are irrelevant now and the owners are now on the hook. The players/owners should have never taken the bait, now they are trying to hire a crisis management team because of, billions.

Trump holds command of the board, in this instance, not sure that is going to change until the owners are driven into submission or kneel to the king.

This 'movement' picked up steam over the weekend as a response to Trump and his "fire the son of a b****" comment... which is exactly what he wanted. Every indication is that he enjoys the chaos and division.

exactly. my dad was on a mine sweeper in the pacific. his ship was badly damaged when blowing a big clump of mines. they went to Iwo Jima for repairs, while my dad was there, they had him be a PT boat operator. well, something happened and their supplies were cut off. My dad ate spam 3x a day for 45 days before new supplies finally arrived. screw those whiny NFL brats.
My uncle died on Iwo.

Or he wants what he wants -- he hasn't yet gotten what he wants, my bet he will.

This was a blitzkrieg, he took the whole theater of operations, owners are in crisis mode and unable to do anything. They already lost, it over, the only thing to do now is decide if they want to go down with the ship or offer a settlement.
