Tiger is not immune to what all professional golfers go through, which is why they call it the second season. Body, hand/eye coordination, eyesight changes, nerves, etc. - all of it starts changing as a guy nears 40. That's where Tiger finds himself. Nicklaus was one of the few that adjusted and successfully made the swing changes to keep it going. But even he struggled at times, especially with his putting. Sam Snead was another. Whether Tiger can make the adjustment sufficiently to go on and win the majors remains to be seen. Of all the issues that will affect it the most it has to be that left knee that has been through several serious surgeries. It just becomes more and more difficult as we age to maintain the right spine angle throughout the swing when the left knee in particular gets weaker.
