Watched it back last night when I got home. Gibson had some absolutely huge plays last night.

Who had the bust on that one long pass? The one where the guy was wide open? That was the one just terrible bust. Said at the first of the year before we played this was a much more athletic secondary but they would have those bust plays every now and then.

I was thinking when we were behind 10-0 that the message Huepel gave the press after one of the wins, "UT is known for defense", meant that he reverted to Fulmer ball. Great defense conservative as hell offense, and always losing to UF. Thankfully the team came thru with a win.

The back end did the typical Martinez big game moment “ let the guy get behind you”

Luckily our front 7 is ridiculously deep and effective.

Having a walk on at safety is concerning. But the defense is not the issue right now.

I think the issue is not having a stud coordinator in the booth upstairs. Halzle isn’t cutting it and it’s very clear when we play teams with a pulse. If Huepel has someone like Golesh it seems to be a much better outcome. I attribute certain games during the first 2 seasons to not having the players. We have players now.

The defense is ready to punch opponents in the mouth every chance they get. They play with their hair on fire and honestly think they’re up for the challenge. We couldn’t do any of this without them.

Turrentine bought on the double move and got turned around. Not a great play from a guy as old as him

Turrentine was the safety who got burnt on the TD. Brooks had a couple of nice pass breakups earlier in the game.

Nah, but we should bump you down to former fan. But I doubt if you entered the portal any other program would welcome you in. Worth a try though.

I would think you would fit best switching to the lane train or some other character optional program.

You do realize that he has the CB’s and not the safeties don’t you? It looked to me to be a safety bust on the TD. Anybody with some hard facts?

Well, just testing your belief in free speech. If introduction of demotion of a coach is fair game by a fan, why not a fan by another fan? It is just a board after all. Performance is in play for us all.
