The Tim Banks slander stops now

The defense made a mistake. I don’t blame Banks for that.
I blame the fact there was zero pressure with 3 guys rushing the line. If you are gonna drop 8 in coverage, you take the heat for mistakes.

Again...I'm a big Banks fan. I think he's a top DC in the country. But that play was reminiscent of Chavis and his infamous 3rd and long defenses

There is one point I just don't understand. Our defensive line is fairly good most all would say. Now this DL has been playing against our offense line during practice I would assume.

How in the world can Lance Heard so be bad in pass blocking and the coaches not know? I have heard Utu wanted to play@ OT and we wanted him @ OG. Damn, I would take ANY 4/5 star lineman

and give them a chance @ OT next year. It would seem the coaches must know how weak we are at OT.

Because it's "practice"? Just like in Nico's case, there's a huge difference in practice reps vs facing live SEC defenses. You have that no contact jersey on and it's far different from when the bullets are live.

Underrated post.

I'm a banks fan, but that final TD play by FL should have never happened. That was 3rd and Chavis.

Blitz the guy
Sh*******t, that third down play was vintage Steve Spurrier. Straight down the gut of our defense is our weakest point, and apparently Napier learned this from the Ol Ball Coach. Hated Spurrier, but respected the hell out of him for he exploited the positive of his teams and focused on the weaknesses of his enemies reminiscent of Vito Corleone.

Banks and Martinez are off limits for verbal abuse and second guessing. Currently Elarbee is on the clock as well as Joey Halzle.

Another guy now is catching attention and will have a performance review for not optimizing the skillset of the offensive squad:

Yep, it was a breakdown by the safety In coverage. From the stands, you could tell Lagway was getting happy feet and about to panic and then the receiver broke wide open.
LB depth was at 10 yds on a 3rd and 18 too. They should've been flying out of the box.
