First time going to Bud's last night. One of the best reuben's I've ever had! And some kind of oysters, delicious!

Windy... I have been where you are with a house. It's not fun. We looked for two years before we were able to find what we wanted and needed. Don't get down. You have to look at it as those houses aren't the ones you are supposed to be in. I know that's not easy.

This market is just crazy, houses do not stay on the market. We will continue our search, but it makes it hard when you have to go look at things immediately.

What are the sellers like? Did you get a chance to meet with them? Is there an angle you can play to get them to consider you over other offers? The extremely nice (almost) married couple starting out in life that are just adorable?

Find the cards to play. I know it's not usual for the sellers to meet with buyers beforehand, but sometimes you get lucky.

We are out. Our realtor called and said they were asking for highest offers from all. We declined as we will not get into a bidding war.

Food for thought in the future though. That adorable couple and all.

Gives the old folks something to smile at and gives you an in. I mean, the rest of us know you are mean, but they might not. :p

They were a young couple with two kids. It's about the $$$, not the warm and fuzzy.

We had the Winter Olympics at my church tonight. Tons of fun! And my team brought home the gold! Woot woot!!

Not sure. :p

But the events we had were luge, bobsled, ice dancing, snowman building contest, ice cream eating contest, etc. All done in the gym at our church. The lady that organized everything is amazing! We had five teams (my team won the gold medal, did I say that already?) and about 100 people participated. The oldest lady on our team was 72, and the youngest was 6.

So much fun.
