1. The decision to go with Antonio Barton over Darius Thompson with 2:30 to go is inexcusable and Tennessee fans deserve a five page single spaced paper from Cuonzo Martin for that idiotic, moronic decision that cost Tennessee game.

2. Tennesse's help defense was too slow today. It was a huge detriment and Missouri got too many good drives in the paint and it cost them dearly.

3. 19 three's on the road when the refs are calling everything is not good coaching. That was a bad game plan. I know Jordy was off, and Josh got decent looks, but that ball should have lived in the paint. Notice Missouri didn't settle for jump shots.

4. Tennessee did dominate the boards and that was nice to see after Florida really dominated the glass Tuesday.

5. Jarnell Stokes was 6-7, and the Missouri big men were in foul trouble all game. That is inexcusable. I mean, for goodness sake, it's not hard to get the ball in the freaking post.

6. I thought this was a perfect game for Maymon to get limited minutes and get Moore more playing time to help spread the floor and help stop penetration. It of course didn't happen for reasons that befuddle me. The worst part was having Maymon in, DOWN BY 3, instead of another shooter. I get having Stokes in for offensive rebounding and screen setting, but both of them is beyond stupid.

7. Bernard King Player of the Game: Jordan McRae. He didn't take great shots, but inside the perimeter he was automatic, and I will always take 8-8 from the free throw line. I thought his defense was pretty solid considering he had tough matchups all night.

8. Josh Richardson hitting those last five three throws just shows his mental toughness and shows he's ready to be a leader on the court next season. Those were huge and absolutely a great sign.

9. Missouri shot 56%. Tennessee shot 42%. I don't even know how they were in this game. It was a miracle they got the ball at the last possession.

10. Tennessee's lack of defense, bad coaching, and dumb late decisions cost them tonight. No excuse for tonight's loss. They should have beat Missouri and it was a pitiful performance by Cuonzo Martin tonight. The decision to go with Antonio Barton late instead of Darius Thompson is the worst coaching decision he's made at Tennessee, and right now this team doesn't deserve a tournament bid.

They had 4 Missouri bigs with 4 fouls with about 10 min to go. Nobody fouls out. Sorry coaching. We took lead in second half by going inside and driving the lane. Then jumpers the rest of the way. Ive had it with Conzo. He gets out coached in last five min of every game.

If this team makes the NCAA Tournament, it will be by divine intervention. They are horrendous in virtually every aspect of the game outside of what McCrae and Stokes muster up in a game-to-game basis. The team and coaches collectively just suck. Not NCAA Tournament material, never will be under Martin.

Hard to see this team dancing.

I think a few other coaches could have this same team ranked and ready for a surge in the dance.

It is ALL coaching.

I agree with everyone, the only 2 things I have to say are, 1) please bury Antonio Barton way down next to the guy in the blue shirt, because I can not see his play being anything but a hindrance for us in the next 5 games or so. 2) please just coach to our strengths, we are good inside and outside, not so much from the mid-range game. We have Maymon and Stokes who can completely dominate the game and Richardson and McRae can shoot the ball. Also did Maymon get called for at least 2 fouls where he was standing in the way of someone about to run him over?

After those botched clock calls that basically fave CCM two free timeouts he should have at least drawn up a decent play instead of a turnover. I'm starting to see the bad coaching that everyone has been talking about

But but BTO said everything would be alright. Jk.

Agree with the OP. Why did we not get the ball to Stokes on the block? PLease limit Barton minutes because he is a liability on both ends.

:popcorn:Zero inside game in last 10 minutes. Zero 1-3-1...3 guys with 4 fouls and zero DQs.

Do we really desire to see this team in the tournament our showing in the NIT is enough to say No...

The two inbound plays at end of game were pathetic. Almost got 5 second call on one of them. Martin plans screen for McRae with no back up plan. If I am opposing coach I don't let McRae touch it either.

The hot player was Richardson. I would have screened for both.....

It is hard to say whether or not if we are a good or bad team....It is easy to say we are not a well coached team
Martin is just average coach and it showed up again today . No excuse for not pushing ball inside to Stokes .. all Mizzou front line had four fouls , did any of them foul out ?

All Barton needed to do is give us what he gave at Memphis. He's gone from their alltime 3 pt shooter by % to hesitant, scared and not smart.

One thing that should be concerning, as it has been with CM's players, is that DT's first game as a starter was his best. I believe he had @ 7 pts and 7 assts, was aggressive and not walking around. Since he has been coached as the starter, he hasn't played nearly as well, and he's started to walk around too much on both ends. Neither one of the pgs wants the ball or wants to shoot right now.

2 quality bigs, outstanding shooting guard, defensive stopper, and points that don't turn it over= pretty darn good team if the coaching is there. If you haven't picked up on it yet I am not a CCM fan.
