The shortest route to the closest city in Canada is 598 miles while the shortest route to Memphis is 496. I go to Canada every summer with to visit my wife's family.

He might've meant the border and as the crow flies not citites and roads.

One of my fondest memories from high school was watching a drunken moron try to ride a rail on the ramp. Dude ended up with a compound fracture.

Awesome.

I was driving through downtown the other day and watch a guy let go over a cart he was pulling to pick something up and the thing took off down one of the ramps, flipped over, and sent papers flying everywhere. I chuckled.

This is one of those ridiculous laws that get on the books for some reason. Was passed a hundred years or so ago. It may have been removed by now, but when I was in criminal justice class back in 85 the prof was talking about it. Then there's this one:
In Memphis, Tennessee, a woman is not to drive a car unless a man warns approaching motorists or pedestrians by walking in front of the car that is being driven.
