Another USAF type here. Born on an AF base so I guess it was in my blood. 93-13. Kelly AFB, Wright-Patterson AFB, Hanscom AFB, Chantilly, Pentagon, Schriever AFB, Kirtland AFB. Plus a year at Union III, Baghdad. Acquisitions mostly.

UT degree courtesy of the Air Force so there's that.

Outta curiosity, did you get your degree while in or afterwards? And how easy was it to work with UT as far as TA, GI bill, online classes etc.

I avoid those deals like the plague. But I have heard the Denny's breakfast is legit. Anywhere near a base and the waits are 90+ minutes for a $6 meal.

Bruh.... I grab at least a burger from red Robin and a steak from Texas roadhouse lol...... But stay away from Golden Corral lol

Actually got it while I was in. It was a special program to get an MBA offered by the AF so not TA. Don't know if they're even doing it anymore. The school was very good to work with. Never had an issue about bills or doing the online classes. UT seems to be pretty good about accommodating military/veterans.

My dad was in the Navy from 1942-1946. He was on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific. They got hit by a kamikaze but not sunk.

I was in the Air Force from 1969-1990.
I had two overseas tours: 18 months in Okinawa and 4 years in England. I was in the Contracting field. Dealt with various types of contracts and purchased several commodities, services and construction.

Aviation Support Equipment Technician in the Navy, 2009-13. Stationed in San Diego on the USS Ronald Reagan. Did one West pac, a 6 month surge deployment and got to take part in a Rim PAC where we practiced war situations with other countries. Miss the open seas, especially the view. Nothing like working on the flight deck.

Yep....13B but I worked outside of my MOS for a lot of my service. I was a S1 clerk for my two years in Germany. Then I worked in a gun section while at Bragg and some of Campbell before being assigned to The Air Assault School as an instructor for my last two years. Great times on the line though... “Fire Mission!!”

WOW... What was happening in Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia during your enlistment? As a veteran of Vietnam I find this interesting.
