The Walking Dead

He was holding the first few off, the others were still coming and they would have broken the chain.

I've slept since that Znation episode so I missed the connection. :)

Yeah, those zombies are such energy vampires! It was a little over the top.

Lol!

I thought dodge ball with walkers at the bridge was pretty funny.

If you can dodge a wrench... :)

I'm ok with last night's episode, which I thought had some really good acting, but I'll be pissed if they do it again next week.

And for all you fellow Z Nation fans laugh a bit at the end? I immediately thought of the Zombienado episode.

yeah I did too. Already stealing ideas...lol

I really enjoy episodes like that every now and then. A whole series of it would feel too much like Lost.

Are we to infer that there is some higher power controlling things with the group running out of water and it finally rains, the tornado not touching the barn but everything else and the music box suddenly playing? Or it is foreshadowing hope with the arrival of Aaron? If the season plays out like I think it will, we all should be in for a treat.

Yeah it's a higher power: Robert Kirkman.

I have a feeling it'll be a roller coaster from here on for awhile.

From what I got out of that episode, they were feeling very hopeless and a few of them were pretty close to the breaking point of giving up. These events, IMO, were supposed to be pick me ups which kind of gave them a small sense of hope back.

Strange, because if what I think is going to happen, which looks like it could after introducing the new guy, then this new hope won't last long.

I thought this was one of the more boring episodes in a while. The only difference in this and journey to Terminus was the group being together. After 20 min I got the hopeless gist. Rick's Walking Dead speech was way past due though.

My biggest complaint about the barn door scene is it went from them holding it shut to all asleep. At some point they had to decide it was safe enough to stop.

And now that someone pointed out that the actress that plays Sasha is pregnant I couldn't stop noticing how they are trying to mask it.

You noticed after his speech he proceeded to say that they WEREN'T the walking dead thought right?

:) You're welcome for that Sasha tidbit.

Does it not freak anyone else out that Noah looks just like Orlando Jones, it freaks me out when I see him. Lol

He said "we're not them" which I took to mean " we aren't mindless flesh eating monsters".

Yeah, it was a bit slow but not bad. I'm glad they finally introduced some real freaking weather interference and a tornado to boot. Major props imo! Better late than never I suppose.

The weather aspect was nice but I'd like to see them tackle some cold weather now that they are farher up north.

The 3 degree tempo this morning inspired this post.

I'm wondering if that's still something they aren't quite sure how to address regarding walkers. Do they want to commit to walker's being effected by cold or is that something to hold back on?

Just speculation on my part.

Could be. In the comics there was a blizzard early on that slowed them down. There are definitely things that happened in early in the comics before the book was considered a success that Kirkman says he wishes he could take back. The show kind of hives him that chance.

It would still be interesting to see how they survive during a winter storm though.

The winter storm thing would be cool, they'd definitely have to find a building to ride it out in.

I'm still wondering how Aaron was tracking the group and nobody saw him or anybody that was with him. Especially given that Darryl was going off into the woods to search. You'd think he would have seen someone.

A couple of cool story bro from this season. The show is shot near my house and my kids got some pics while they were shooting this season. The setting where Tyrese was killed was in the neighborhood next to mine.

J/k. Was wondering where they shot that, the neighborhood looked familiar to me.

It is off Redwine Road in Peachtree City. The subdivision it was shot in was Foreston Place. I live in Timberlake which is around the corner.

There's a local fan group that tracks the filming locations around town. I've heard it's a great way to meet the cast and get autographs; all of the actors are very cool and often will mingle with fans during their breaks.

There is a comiccon in Knoxville this April that will have an actor that played one of Michone's pets...

We call them the "walker stalkers" and they raid the area each year while they film down here.

Edit: Meant to quote SWIL.

It must have been one of them who told me about it. I attended the walker Stalker con late last year and learned about this there. It was OK but kinda over priced for what it was.

I met Andrea, Hershal, Dale and the Hispanic dude who played the governor's right hand. Scott Wilson still looked exactly like Hershal, Laurie Holden didn't look anything like Andrea.
