The Walking Dead

Wasn't a fan of the black and white motif, but I thought the way they tied the past and present story lines was masterfully executed.

Alexandria is about to get fubar'ed!!

I'm usually with you on a lot of the criticisms of this show, but if that bored you, then I'm not sure there's much of a reason for you to keep watching.

I'm not going to say it was the best episode ever, but I never found it boring.

Well goodbye Walking Dead I guess, thanks. I did say a little bored. The million man zombie march just didn't do it for me, I know in the grand scheme of things it has its purpose, it just got a little tedious. That's where the little bored came from. The back and forth flashbacks were alright, it had some funny moments. I would rather have spent the episode purely on the aftermath of what Rick did. Plus 90 minutes is just too long.

Did anyone else check their DVR to make sure it was playing from the start of the show?? That opening kinda came outta left field with zero hints on exactly wtf was going on.

I thought they were deliberately training zombies on Alexandria at first =D

Was really happy to see Ethan Embry join the cast earlier in the year. Turns out that was extremely short-lived lol

i enjoyed the episode alright, though it didn't need to be 90 mins (or well, technically 55-56 mins) long.

Also, I can't stand Eugene. I found that whole scene with him and Heath at the gate, cringe-worthy.

I'm glad in not the only one who feels that way about Eugene. Every time he opens his mouth I cringe. I enjoyed the episode though. I think next week they deal with the hurd and the gunfire draws in the wolves who will be dealt with in episode three.

Freaking Eugene man. Couldn't believe he just opened the gate for people he didn't know.

"I reckon I don't know yall, but since you say yall are from here, I reckon it's safe to just take yalls word for it and let you into this here extremely valuable and protected community without so much as a question. By the way, I dig your hair brother."

I did happen to get to meet Josh McDermitt (along with Michael Cudlitz aka Abraham) when they came to see a movie at the theater I work at. Dude was really nice and laid back (as was Cudlitz), I'll give him that much. as much as I don't care for his character, I was pretty excited to see him and Abraham in person. thought it was hilarious that they came to see a movie together lol

Amazing to me that the right move was to release a megaherd and try to herd them like cattle 20 miles away...
Why not fortify the blocades and then figure out how to destroy the megaherd en toto?

Seems like a rookie move for Rick's group.

....that many walkers?

It's not like they had a Moab laying around somewhere.

They just needed to find a few 50 cal. machine guns and plenty of ammo. Station them on the road out of the quarry and wait for the herd to come out. Mow them down. Not hard.

I don't care for Eugene and that scene was dumb.

Yeah, it seems like they could have just burned 'em all where they where.

But my point is why open up atall? Thay are corralled there. Fortify and give the Alexandria crew plenty of target practice. When they become good shots or bored, then grenades, dynamite, napalm...
Gas and styrofoam mixed

Kind of confused as to why there were so many walkers down there in the middle of nowhere?

At the end of last season we saw that the Wolves were killing people to make more walkers...using them for traps and as weapons. Don't know how long they've been doing that, but it could've sped the process.
