i doubt they're usually "trampled," but yes, I get that the kid walkers are at a disadvantage when it comes to getting fresh "meat," especially when in a horde. Also, considered that most kids are basically consumed to the point where they won't be a walker to begin with.

still think they should come across more kid walkers. surely there are still a decent number out there.

I think the next major deaths should involve the writers... need some new ideas with this show.

Just finished reading compendium 2 which goes past where they currently are in the show. Reading the comic has made me even more disappointed in the show, which I guess is normal if you compare books to movies.

That being said, I look forward to seeing this start back up and whether or not they follow the comic.

Yes, the graphic novel is by far better than the show

I must say I'm already disappointed a bit in the initial tease of Negan's men, because they seem really tame compared to his crew in the comic. I realize they have to tone it down but they really just seem so vanilla in that clip.

I think the show is the best its ever been the last couple season. Unlike season 3, they actually take their time and developed characters for the most part. I'm glad its not long action, action, develope Rick and hardly anyone else, action, action.

I agree. Outside of the Flu and Grady Memorial stories I think season 4-6 have been the best.

To the point of those that have read the comics:
I've read through issue 50 which goes till the end of the Prison/Gov story. I think the show has done some things better and some not. The Shane story line was 1000x better on show. I liked the way the Gov was portrayed on the show better but the overall execution of the story wasn't as good as the comics. Tyrese and Andrea were better in the comics but Herschel was better on the show. It's really a give and take.

I agree, the show definitely has done a better job with a few characters. (Actually when I think about it I typically prefer the show characters more). I like Glenn more on the show.

It has been so long since I have seen the early seasons of TWD, so I don't really remember Shane's character much. But the TV show and comic were so different around that time. They spent a full season on the farm it seemed, and it was like a few pages in the comic.

I agree with you that seasons 4-6 have been the best as far as overall story (even though I still think season 1 was the best single season).

That being said, the pace of the show is killing me. I can't watch it week-to-week anymore. My plan for the second half of this season is to wait until it's done and binge them.

I like the characters, and I like how the story is unfolding, I just don't like having to wait, sometimes 2-3 weeks, before they come back to certain stories/characters.

Most hour long cliff hanger shows are best to be binged. I remember some ridiculous Jack Bauer binges back in the day.

I kind of miss the old days of when the group was smaller and the core actors had more screen time. Having said that am I the only one watching this show now that doesn't really give much of a crap about the majority of the Alexandrian's? Like Enid and Jessie(the blonde mother) are about the only two interesting characters from that entire town.

Nope; I couldn't care less about almost all of them. Which is why

I'm glad most of them are about to kick the bucket
