The Walking Dead

Commercials consistently broke the tension.

The last scene was awesome. But of course this show goes the route of gimmicky tricks rather than trying to tell a good story.

I hate this show honestly. But unfortunately I'll be back lapping it up whenever it comes back around. It somehow has me hooked.

Honestly, I'm more watching to see how many spoilers are correct at this point. I'm almost positive it will be a cliffhanger as described by so many.

I can vouch for the Spoiling The Dead facebook page. Those guys have people on there that get special preview privileges for each episode and then they post on the facebook page an episode summary of sorts. I'm not sure if they get a preview for the finale though.

Ending was a cop-out. Should have showed who it was lying in a pool of blood, with the other characters in disbelief, then cut to black.

El-oh-el way to spend the last 3 episodes pissing all over the best half season this show has had.

Jerry, totally agree. Really not into this show anymore. I'll hope gimple does a better job with outcast. TWD has turned into today's Dallas. Who shot JR? Who cares at this point. Gimmick bs all the way. That was pure garbage.

whelp...ok. take a deep breath wardamn. deep breaths.

i didn't mind the majority of the episode. some positives...

-Father Gabriel f***ing rules. Honestly surprised that he is one of my faves now. little screen time as usual, but for some reason, i dug the hell out of it. so glad he has gotten some redemption.
-Speaking of redemption, Morgan having some balls was nice to see as well. for a split second there, i actually thought Carol had been shot, but then i get to see Morgan just smokin the hell out of that dude. awesome.
-Eugene...not bad. usually i don't care for him, but i really liked him tonight. especially during those brief moments with abe and rick.
-For those who have played GTA 5, the Savior who is basically Trevor. Loved him.
-and last, certainly not least, motherf***n Jeffery Dean Morgan "knocking it out of the damn ballpark" as Negan. The whole 9.4 of the final 10 mins...phenomenal, intense television.

The Negatives...
-Enid was cringe-worthy bad. ugh. that scene with her and carl just felt awful to me.
- 90 min episode. for this? (reality more like 50 mins)
- 40 mins of commercials. for this?
-Carol, what the hell happened to you. you're almost more annoying and dumb than you were in S1, and that's saying a lot.
-Abe and Sasha...yawn.
-Sooo...was there an actual point of Daryl getting shot last episode? besides to make some viewers go crazy?
- Who the #### is watching/caring for Judith?

Anyways, that's all i got. Decided to just turn it off during the eeny-meeny-mini-moe part. guess we saw Coral finally get what was coming to him? awesome, that's great. i'm good with that.

I'd say hopefully this episode will have a few of you whiners bailing on this show and ultimately this thread... but you won't. You'll continue to keep watching, taking it voluntarily in the rear and coming back here to complain and threaten to leave some more. It'll remain the endless cycle of bltching and moaning that it really is.

That being said, cliffhangers blow! :)

It's probably Eugene. He gave Rick his bullet making plans, said his goodbyes, and even hugged it out with Abraham.

Another cliffhanger involving Glen? That'd be dumber than the previous Glen cliffhanger and this finale combined.

I've got hard money on it NOT being an original from season 1.

Funny you whine about the complaining yet turn around and say pretty much exactly what the "complainers" have said about the episode.

At 10:35 you can clearly hear Glenn mutter out "Maggie" right before he says taking it like a champ. I'm thinking its Glenn.

How is the group going to defeat Negan and his group? They are severely outnumbered. Maggie, Carol, and Daryl looks like death, someone else is going to die. I just don't see where they go from here? Where does the comics go after this point?

The Neegan scene was outstanding. Not a fan of the cliffhanger. Will feel less dramatic and gut punching as the opening of next season.

Will continue watching and ignore thread to avoid spoilers leading up.

I'm wondering how they'll play it out too. They have some serious numbers. Rick's group has to have killed at least 40 or so of them already and they still have this many left. Probably a lot more we haven't even seen yet.

I've listened to that about 100 times and I still don't hear this supposed "Maggie!" line. I hear something but IMHO people are hearing what they want to hear.

Plus none of the extra stuff was even in the audio of the actual episode.

What struck me is how defeated Rick looked. The man had his head over a trough ready to be slaughtered once and still looked his capturer in the eye and told him how he planned to kill him. He didn't look nearly as defiant this time.

I actually hope a little it's NOT what happens (a bit cliche at this point) but the obvious thermonuclear/desperation option in TWD world is to utilize the walkers in some fashion.
