The Walking Dead

Loved Rick when he saw the tiger.

lol, the whole group really.
Jesus thinking they were right behind him, to turn around and find them at the very back of the theater.

But I did like the way Rick presented his line

"Yeah...Tiger"

Anybody see the interview with Lennie James (Morgan)? He says something about this episode and Morgan realizing the storm's coming, and the first drop of rain. It was a very cool choice of words.

Decent episode, the clothesline scene was boss. The saviors went mighty easy on Rick and the gang when coming for Darryl; was expecting at least one person to get smacked around for it.

And just when we were starting to like Gabrielle, he goes and does something totally Gabrielle!

Talking Dead behind the scenes showed they used only 12 gallons of gasoline to make that huge explosion as they are escaping the herd! 😮

It was a decent enough episode, but I thought the clothesline scene was straight up Z-Nation cheese.

Also I get Daryl is an emotional guy and no one is going to ever mistake him for a great speaker, but some of his few lines didn't make any sense. The "you're with us or you ain't" was fine enough and definitely fit his persona, but telling Gregory "you're talking out of both sides of your mouth" didn't. Gregory is a weasel, but his message was pretty consistent. And then when he said to Ezekiel he called himself a king but didn't act like it, well Ezekiel made a decision that he thought was best for his people's safety, so....actually yes he was acting like a king.

It didn't ruin the episode or anything, actually it was more humorous. I was kind of hoping the second time he did it, Rick would turn to him and say "Hey Daryl, just stop talking for a while, you're not helping".

You guys apparently missed it. When Gabriel drove off the hooded dude with the duct tape designed boots popped up in the backseat of the car. The hooded guy obviously met up with Gabriel at Alexandria to take him back to the boat because Gabriel would have had no idea how to get there.

The wire scene was cool to see but dumb at the same time. The walkers would have been spread out over both sides of the highway. They would have been hitting them with their cars and ultimately got stuck.

I think he went to enlist another group.
Don't think that he deserted.
I think that is what the writers want you to think.

He is either at that junkyard (don't think so)
Or went to enlist the help of the Seaside all women's group. (They had way more weapons than people)

Did you notice how they filmed Daryl pacing?
Made me think that Daryl represented the Tiger for Rick's group.
You can put him in a cage, you can beat him, but he won't ever be tamed...

:hi:

LOL I thought it was awful nice of the walkers to bunch up in the middle like that.

Still a cool scene though.

I think Gabriel is at the junk yard. (Were some of the weapons pointed at them the ones Gabriel took?). Rick's grin was the tipoff. Either that or he was happy to find another large group of fighters to join the war.

Judging by next weeks preveiw he will make a strong case for the junkyard crew to join in the battle and possibly find even more safe haven type communities to join, it may get pretty big and so big the saviors will have no choice but to surrender.
(I don't read the comics)

The grin was a great way to end the show. He hasn't had anything to grin about in a very long time.

"Stay on the median folks!"

I think he grinned because he just found his new army.

The question is, does Oceanside with all their weapons get roped into the battle?

What if the person in the boots is one of the Morales family from S1?

Looking forward to how they are going to get the women's island involved.

Have a feeling Negan will eventually get what he has coming. May take a couple of seasons though.

I'll settle for Negan's glorified foreman, Simon getting it in a bad way...I mean medieval bad!

He makes it to at least season 8 but I highly doubt what plays out in the comics with Negan plays out on the show.

No way Negan survives this tv show even though he lives in the comics.

Sounds like the show is really close to catching up with the comics. Despite the ratings drop its still the highest rated show on cable. Makes you wonder how long they keep it going and if it will pass up the source in the same way Game of Thrones did.
