The Walking Dead

Why didn't Daryl tell Carol about Glenn and Abraham?

Daryl wants the best for Carol and she's chosen to live her life in a peaceful little house of respite from the chaos.

telling her would have disrupted her solitude and peace...Carol is a character that has done numerous 360s throughout the show from being a submissive housewife battered and abused by a drunk, to being the independant mother who grieved her daughters death, to being the jaded individual who tried to train 10 year olds on the hard lessons of killing people, to being outcast by her family group, to being welcomed back into the fold, and being a ***** on a mission to annihilate all that present a danger to her group....

Daryl has been with her the longest....I think he sees that she needs this peace.

I really hope I can start to enjoy the junkyard group or whatever they are called. I can't decide if the show was trying to make them look tough or formitable, but the scenes with the group kinda made me laugh. When they entered the junkyard and just started walking around in circles...wtf was that

I agree on the Carol stuff. She used to be one of the characters I liked, but I actually look away from the TV whenever she is on screen now. I think Morgan having his stick taken could be the start of his change.

The most annoying thing I found about the junkyard dwellers was how they spoke. Or at least the leader. It was like English was some new form of communication. These people did exist in a society before the turn. Just seemed silly.

I thought the walking around part was to disorient the group or something. MYbe so they couldn't get a bead on their numbers.

Am I the only one who noticed The Smokey and The Bandit trailer in the scene where Daryl and the guy from the Kingdom were fighting?

They reminded me of some of the awkward acting in the original Mad Max trilogy.

Agreed. Very silly IMO. Unless it's a bunch of nerds living out their TV show nerd fantasies in the zombie apocalypse it cheesy as can be. Living in a junkyard is completely understandable, but they act/talk like the kids from mad max beyond thunderdome. I know it's a fictional show about the zombie apocalypse but this is so ridiculous they might as well introduce the pee wee Herman gang in tight gray suits riding the coolest bikes in the world.

But that's exactly what I assume they are.
If the zombie apocalypse really happened, you would run across smart and tough people like our group and the other kinds of survivors?

Thugs, freaks and weirdos most likely.
The kind of people that role played this in advance and couldn't wait lol.

I think that the junkyard group has been living separate from society even prior to the apocalypse. They are very different. (Of course the Wolves and Terminus crew developed oddities very quickly, so I may be FOS... :) )

What was the official story on the Wolves? Rick wiped out the remainder?

Pretty sure that the 5 that Morgan let go were the same 5 that Rick killed.

They were not that big a group...
They made lots of Walker traps though...

Thought there was more to them and maybe a connection to Negan. Thanks Doc...making sure I hadn't missed a plotline.

Even my friends who are most infected with liberalitis think this is a reach...

Oh good grief.

Just change the words to something non-offensive and put it back out.

"I will shut that **** down"

Oh, let me rethink that.
