The Walking Dead

It's a lot but it's as close to a Cliff notes as I can get.

Sasha does the Holly "returned as a walker" routine from the comics, only it's not exactly the same. Negan is taking her back and tells her he's going to Lucille 3 people to punish Rick for Sasha trying to kill him or something like that. Sasha convinces him to just kill one.

The whole episode is setting up her death with flashbacks of her with Abraham the day before he died, and then with flashbacks with Maggie after Beth and Tyreese were both killed. Plus the at the Kingdom Morgan and Carol are getting ready for battle.

It ends with Negan showing up and for some reason Sasha is in a casket (I guess for effect). On the way Sasha takes the poison pill Eugene gave her. So when Negan opens the casket, she's a walker and she kills one of Negan's men, and then all hell breaks lose.

The Junkyard Gang is there with Rick and they do turn on them; the woman is the "little birdie". They fight a while and Negan has Rick and Carl and is about to kill Carl in front of Rick and the Kingdom shows up. The tiger comes in and mauls a few Saviors and Morgan and Carol come in kicking ass. They fight a while and Maggie and the Hilltop show up too and they're beating back the Saviors. Negan escapes and flips everyone off.

I'm not sure if it's the ending but they go find Sasha as a walker wandering through Alexandria and I think Maggie or Rosita one puts her down.
bingo

Good episode.

Hate that the junk yard dogs turned on them. The tiger definitely got its moments.

Eugene... how disappointing. I hope he finds redemption but as of right now I want him to die horribly.

Looks like they are still severely out numbered for the long run. Unless they bring more of The Kingdom on board.

So... only one casualty of the main cast.

I know some will find something to complain about but I really liked this episode.
Didn't want to miss even the slow scenes because it just seemed something important could happen at any given moment.

Spot on spoiler also, even knowing the general storyline didn't take anything away. Wish every episode could be that intense.
But I'm just greedy like that :)

I thought it was a great episode. The only thing that bothered me was why didn't Walker Sasha bite one of the Alexandria members just like Holly in the comics? It's good she killed one less savior to deal with but the writers could have made it more dramatic by making her kill one of her own. Either way, I enjoyed it. Looking forward to next season.

Maybe I missed it, did they say or show why the dynamite didnt go off. Did someone sabotage it, or just rosita not knowing what she was doing?

That episode was really intense. Before this episode I really couldn't stand Ezekiel, but he redeemed himself. Him and his tiger are bad ass! You could could tell Negan was impressed and wanted one lol.

I have this feeling that Eugene will really step up, but at the same time I believe he'll end up dying the coward that he is. I'm kind of torn on what his character will do.

Carol, Morgan, and Ezekiel were really boring the f*** out of me, so I'm glad they have finally put that passive BS aside. Because they are bad ass characters when they do so.

I believe next season will be the best one yet. This past season was so-so, but I understand that they had to build a few characters up. I think the war next season will be epic. Not on the level of Game of Thrones, but it will be good imo.

It sucks that we have to wait so long, but at least Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones, and Shameless will all be coming on between the break to make it go by faster.

We all know if that tiger was real it'd be dead now. At least 4 people would have shot that thing multiple times. Tell me you don't spray a loose tiger when you are holding an automatic rifle.

When you are also getting shot at? May not be your highest priority...

I just don't get the garbage people. Why would Rick strike a deal with a bunch of deranged people living in a dump?
Much less turnover a bunch of weapons.

The Tiger wouldn't know who to maul. Ridiculous, but comic world doesn't always translate to TV.

Why didn't the garbage girl kill Rick when she had him dead to rights? Why shoot him in the leg?

Because she was doing Negan's bidding and Negan didn't want Rick dead.

Even when he had them, he was going to kill only Carl. I'm sure that was his order.

Carl popped off the first shot that started the chaos, like a badass. Foreshadowing, maybe?

Leg? I thought she shot him in the lovehandle.

Looks like I'm the oddball, but I was disappointed with this episode. As someone mentioned earlier it was stupid for rick to round up a bunch of guns and hand them to people he didn't know. The junkyard people are just dumb anyway. The zombie apocalypse has given rise to junkyard larpers living out their fantasies.

Protected characters are protected. It really kills any sense of drama when you know nobody important is going to die. Just a bunch of redshirts like normal. Sure Sasha died but that was expected with her having a lead on a different show. Would they have killed her off if she didn't have another show? Who knows.

Negan still talks too much. His big monologues make me want to fast forward through them. It would be more entertaining for me if he shut up and actually did what he went goes on about.

I will say I don't really like how characters like Sasha, Tyreese, and Beth got their own long farewell episode and Glenn didn't.
