Anyone else think Simon would have beat Negan to death realistically?

I don’t get why the show is tying to make him look super strong considering how scrawny JDM is.

I was thinking the same thing; they keep JDM in that leather jacket about 95% of the time to hide how skinny he actually is.

Doesn't matter. Wasn't in the comics, of course Negan wins.

I think the bigger question is, do they ultimately play this out according to Carl's wishes?

They have said that multiple storylines will close. I am guessing a boiler plate episode:

1. All Out war ends - Lots of inconsequential Savior deaths. Negan lives. Possible death like Jerry or Rosita.
2. Beach people assist Hilltop
3. Dwight - the hatchet is buried with him and Darryl one way or another.
4. Jesus returns with food. And a tank... (ok maybe not)

Cliffhanger Options:
1.Rick hurt under the tree

agree about the beach folks. Agree about Dwight and Darryl.

not sure who goes from 'our group'. Tara? Rosita? Carol? figure they killed 3 strong male leads since the beginning of the negan deal, maybe time to reach some gender equity this time around......:p

gregory needs to die. Jesus and Maggie hook up. Rick gets the best of Negan in final showdown only to show mercy on negan to facilitate his son's last wish, leaving things up in the air for the next season, as to the dynamic of all the groups going forward.

It does seem like they are trying to set up something with the pretty boy captured savior.
