The War on Women begins ....

Let's just discount the fact that a huge percentage of taxpayers view abortion as murder (a tough view to argue against) and that PP has been caught red-handed engaging in disgusting practices such as encouraging women to kill their babies, selling human body parts, and improper/inhumane surgical techniques.

It's ridiculous to think that tax money should go to one of the most DEPLORABLE institutions in the United States.

If you're too poor why are you getting pregnant in the first place?

Exactly. If you can't afford to care for the kid, don't get preggo.

"It's my right to go forth and multiply!!!! God wants us to be fruitful!"

Ok then, it's also your right to pay for your kids yourself and stop looking for government kickbacks and handouts. Instead, go to your church and tell them you are too poor and too dumb to get a better job to care for the fruits of your loins.

Free birth control for anyone with annual income under 35k. If you get preggo, baby automatically goes up for adoption to someone that can support it financially. Yup it's harsh, but anything less is just pissing in the wind.

Dont want to get pregnant

Close your damn legs

LOL, you've never met any "urban youth." Your plan has serious flaws bro. We live in a world of pay now or later. It's a helluva lot cheaper to pay for birth control for dummies than it is to financially support their spawn.

Hahahaha!!!! Abstinence is the way!!!

They dont teach the jerk and move anymore, so keeping it out of the go zone is best

I like to bang the poon and I can understand, but I shouldnt have to foot the bill because you are either too stupid to pull the snake out of its hole, or too lazy to care

I love the idea of eliminating cheap birth control for poor people but people complain about poor people having babies....Jesus!!

I deal with them on the regular

Even help deliver a baby for a 14 year old who was pregnant. I chewed her mommas ass like a pack of juicy fruit afterwards. Asking how she could let her 14 year old daughter get this way

I guess its " f being a parent"

Just let your heathen ass kids do anything they want

Libertarian Motto: Voluntaryism

Charities exist for a reason. Force comes into play when governments are involved. I would rather see education services and opportunities for the poor, not enabling handouts. Have you not learned that government has the reverse Midas touch? Everything they touch turns to s**t. Social security? Medicare? Va healthcare? Why do you trust incompetent people to provide an inefficient service that costs an extreme amount that tax payers have to pay for?

And here is my mic drop...

Taxation is Theft!

If taxation is theft, how do you propose we pay for the military, police force, fire department, border patrol, courts, roads, interstates, bridges, prisons, jails, FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, Secret Service, FDA, EPA, etc...?

If everything the government touches turns to s**t, what is your opinion of our military?

I'm pretty confident in predicting that it will increase the number of democratic voters 19+ years from now. So I guess there is that silver lining.

How exactly would a mother sell that to her child 19+ years from now?

"I was going to abort you but that mean ole racist and misogynist Donald Trump defunded Planned Parenthood..."

Agreed. Intelligent people would say it is a small step towards a federal government that is fiscally responsible with money.

Kick it over to the states... That is another option. If California and New York think Planned Parenthood should be publicly funded, then let those states do it themselves.

I can go for that.

Federal government has no business in this. No philosophical discussion on abortion, sex, poverty, etc. Is even required here.

If you want to reduce the social burden of irresponsible sex, paying for the pill might be the best answer.

I think that we endorse irresponsible behavior with funding PP and all of these social programs that help these baby mommas.

Women want to pound their fists and say "My body, my choice", but don't take accountability or want to suffer the consequences for when they let the wrong guy at the wrong time get them knocked up.

You know what, you've put your finger on to something. Lets take this idea of your one step further. How much more money could we save if we just kill euthanize anyone over the age of 65 (arbitrary age we can debate on as we go) and can't take care of themselves anymore?

You know before 1913 and the ratification of the 16th Amendment taxing income, we still had all the infrastructure that you talk about. Yes there was tax on property and super high income but taxes then vs now is completely different. Our progressive income tax system punishes high earners, not the wealthy. For instance, if you start an insanely successful business and pay yourself over 500k a year, you pay 55% income tax. What is your incentive to be successful? We have more taxes now then what we did when we fought a war for independence against a government that was unfairly taxing us.

2nd point. I am a Soldier in the United States Army. While I love the Army, there is a lot of fraud, waste, and abuse. Look no further than defense acquisitions and the wasteful spending on weapons systems that never see the light of day (Crusader - 20billion, XM-8 rifle- 8billion; these are some of the smaller ones). Government bureaucracy ruins all.

This thread is not about abortion. It's about the politics of defunding planned parenthood.

The fundraising off of this, alone, will give the Dems complete control by 2020.
They won't have control of the judicial.
