I think it needs to be considered. I'd like to see the numbers. I have a hard time believing that there are 90 million women in the US that would be in that situation. That's almost a quarter of the US population.I'm not sure it'd be cheaper....the unintended consequence is that the US government would not only pay for every tube-tying surgery, but it would also be paying the patient to get the surgery. Most women are going to eventually elect to have this surgery if they get paid for it. That's like 90M surgeries if it's just 1 out of every 2 women.
