The Weightlifters Thread

Right hamstring feels like it's gonna cramp everytime I move. Wearing heels today (I have a standing work station) probably doesn't help either.

You guys do any particular stretches that you're fond of?
 
I don't get 2% milk if you're a body builder. I'm currently in couch potato mode for a couple weeks, my knee was giving me some serious issues so I'm letting it rest. 2% milk is fine then, but when I'm in gym mode, I'm either cutting or bulking, so it's either skim or whole.

I guess I'm not getting enough protein. There's no way I can get another 100g+ by bedtime with my usual diet. Maybe I'll have to make some changes. What does your typical diet look like?

I have really slacked the last month myself. School has slowed me down. Had a quick workout last night and will be back at it tonight.
 
21 gun salute, today! Gives me so much more of a bicep pump than preacher curls. I think a little bit of "cheating" is good!

Oh yeah. Cheat curls are the best, if done properly. Cheat past the sticking point in the early part of the motion. If you're cheating more than that, you're (the rhetorical you) probably cheating too much.

Hey. All the pro-hormones and test-boosters like Tren Xtreme, Novedex XT, etc. that I used to run are banned now. I'm taking Methyl1D which is helping me cut a little but not helping with strength, gains, or motivation. I don't want to mess with any illegal steroids but what else could I try? Is there any clone type stuff left? Man I miss Tren Xtreme! or Xtreme Tren, whatever it was. Please, let me know.

No, the vast majority of my workouts are push/pull grouping.

I would imagine super-setting biceps and triceps would be a difficult thing to achieve, since all biceps flexion essentially boils down to two movements (one for biceps brachii and one for brachioradialis): Curls and hammer curls. With the triceps, you can hit each head depending on the grip, though the long head is more associated with chest workouts.

That sort of plays into why push/pull sessions tend to be so effective; most of the time, the muscles that activate pulling motions (pull-ups, rows, arm & leg curls, etc.) tend to be supported by one another, and the same goes for pushing motions (bench press, triceps & quadriceps extension, military press, etc)
 
Just got out of couch potato mode for only a week and a half, and I lost crazy strength.

- Three sets of eight wide grip pull-ups and six reps on the fourth set
- Three sets of 6 reps with 240lbs on lat pull-downs
- Four sets of six reps on bent-over barbell rows with 275 lbs (just bought new wrist straps and had a tough time keeping my grip)
- Three sets of eight reps with this awesome parallel grip pull-up/knee tuck thing that I do
- 3 sets of dumbbell hammer curls to failure, didn't keep count
- 4 sets of ten reps on the preacher curl machine with the whole stack (like 170lbs) because this jackwagon was on the ez-curl preacher station the WHOLE time I was at the gym
