The Weightlifters Thread

I was doing 85x10, three sets then hit failure at the eighth rep on the fourth. Probably more reps than I should be doing if I'm trying to get strength back, but I know I'll be back up around 225, and day to day I like being 200. I just really need to work in a good diet and more cardio, and with school starting for me in about eight hours that should help keep down the drinking.

I've been hanging pretty consistently at 200 for a while now, give or take a few pounds depending in the day. If I could get to a pretty solid 215 I'd be happy. School makes it pretty tough to stay on top of my diet and some days I just feel drained afterwards.

Did chest yesturday. Week 4 of my schedule, and I've already increased my weight during my sets by 10lbs. Feels good man. I have legs today, and I may do the same.

My diet and supplements are pulling a double shift.

I was sore immediately following my workout, this morning I feel great and still have a pump going.

I guess I've gotta quit deadlifting, then. Apparently it's a chick exercise, and I don't want to get made fun of any more than I already do at the gym.

I had been doing arms on their own day, so I would do chest, back, legs and then arms. I wound up skipping arms day for about the past month and a half, just figuring that I got enough on the other days. Is this a bad idea? Am I missing out on strength/size gains?

This week, I just did push/pull, so I basically did the same thing, but added bis to back and tris to chest day. I didn't notice any strength loss over the last month and a half.
