Scuse me while I go throw up.Well finally got the results of my MRI......torn meniscus and he is about 98% sure I dislocated my kneecap initially....go to see the surgeon next week to set everything up....looks like I will start working out my upper body only.....I should fit in with about 90% of the others that workout in there
I had my left knee scoped because of a torn meniscus. I'm thrilled I did it. The tear was painful and I held off for almost 4 weeks avoiding surgery. I could barely hobble around hoping it would heal. Never did. I wish I would've just got the surgery immediately. I've done great since. Hope everything goes well for you. Oh and a side note, my MRI came back inconclusive but I couldn't stand it any longer and opted for surgery.
Well some good news finally....met with the Surgeon and he did some tests on my knee and says my tear is minor so no surgery but will give me shots but he messed with my kneecap and said it shouldn't move that much so he gave me a new slip on and Velcro brace to help stabilize it....he Said he firmly believed it dislocated and popped back in and that something that goes across knee, not tendon or ligament, I forgot what he called it, became inflamed and ruptured at same time....so I got the shot, didn't cry (well maybe a tear or two), and got a prescription for steroid cream.....I can resume light workouts in 2 weeks, mainly physical therapy type maneuvers, and can start walking on treadmill next week....so happy happy happy....
Hernia confirmed. Back pain is from a sprained ligament. Doc says foam roller won't do anything, but it won't hurt anything either, so knock myself out. He gave me some anti-inflammatory drugs.
