You have to woo me better than that if you want me to post my noodz in this thread, OD. Buy me some chocolates or something. Maybe take me to see that new Morgan Freeman flick.

I could use that. I think I'll give it a shot

I tried it when it hit the market. One downside (for me anyway) is you'll stay hungry. I was eating anything laying around. Not a good idea.

I would plan my meals and snacks beforehand to not derail my goals.

Tired of my current routine.

Thinking of doing P90x this month.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are that it will get you looking good, but it's a lot of effort. If you aren't looking to actually get in good performance shape, but you just want to look good, I think weights are the best and easiest way to get your body right. If you're trying out for the Eagles then do P90X.

Doing girlie push ups is fine. But as soon as I get on my toes I mentally panic that I'm gonna do something to my shoulder. Surgery was ages ago and I know it's mental.

I just feel like taking a little break from my current lifting. That's why I'm considering it

Current Athletic Goal: Dunk a basketball. I'm 5'11" and hopefully still growing and can touch the rim of a 10 foot goal. It's going to take a long time, but it'll be worth it!

Good luck.

Can touch the rim = you need at least 6 more inches on your vertical.

I was where you are at a year ago and worked like crazy to increase my vertical. I can hang on a rim pretty easily now, but gave up on dunking when I hurt my back playing basketball.

Did the pushup track this morning on my knees. Used to feel defeated having to do girl pushups, but I bout cried when I realized I did the whole track without any shoulder pain. Progress.

I've been struggling regaining my strength after breaking my thumb and tearing ligaments in my left hand. I figured it would be a tougher journey, but it has been 6 months now and I can't seem to get back into it.

I'll be a senior next season and; as a DIII football player with obviously no NFL/post-college football opportunities, want to be at my best form for my last year of competitive tackle football.

Was looking for any recommendations on ways to regain strength and regain weight at a faster than normal pace. Obviously no steroids or anything of that kind as I'm drug tested and don't really want to go through that any way.

But any tips on eating/diet habits, supplements, workout routines, etc. would be very helpful. Thanks In Advance.
