Played golf with a buddy of mine yesterday. He kept wiffing the ball, topping the ball, pushing the ball, etc. I asked him what his deal was. He told me that on Friday morning he squatted for the first time in years. Not only that but he did 8 sets of 8 reps. Needless to say, he was in pain. Poor guy.

8x8. Idk if I've ever done that much volume.

I've completed another cycle of 5/3/1 again while it is implemented into my Ogus PHAT training. It's always fun to increase my strength while cutting. I'm 6 weeks away from my wedding day so I'm hoping to get down to 177-180 lbs. range. Currently sitting at 184.

What macros do you run with during your cut?
 
I like to hit carbs at 50% on lifting days, eating at maintanence, and about 20% on off days, while eating in a deficit, while cutting. Keeps me sane and compliant. Straight deficits make me ornery.

When you cut and do RPT, what does your program look like?
 
Anybody have any recommendations for best ways to find maintenance, cutting, and gaining calories? Any online calculators that seem fairly accurate, or do you just have to play around with your diet and see what works?
