Does Maymon even want to red shirt? What are his long term plans? If he's in college another year he'll be a 23 year old next spring. That's not old, but it's above the mean for a guy entering professional basketball.

I'm sure his chances of getting drafted are much greater as a redshirt senior who's averaging a double double all season than a guy who plays one month his senior year out of shape and rusty.

There's no reason to declare a redshirt right now, pleasing the volnation posters isn't a reason.

Putting an end to all the rampant speculation among the Vol faithful is reason enough from a fan's perspective. If he's going to wind up redshirting, it might as well happen sooner rather than later. If he's going to wind up back in the lineup this season, it looks like it's going to be too late to do us much good in the regular season at least. In any case, I hope his prognosis is positive because Jeronne certainly deserves his place back in the limelight as soon as possible.

I swear it was multiple possessions. Cause McRae hit that three to put us up six and WSU was just in a zone the possession before.

Might not have been five minutes. I could be wrong there.
