If you cared to look, the only ones hurling insults are the self proclaimed "posivols." I haven't called you, kb, tim, or any others names recently, but I have been called plenty by some of them and their crew.

The truth drives some of you guys so crazy. They resort to name calling or wannabe witty remarks. Me, Count, Doyle, Oregonvol, Sjt, and others simply point out the truths about the losses and disappointments.

This isn't about you, it just goes towards what you said about being insulted.

You use the terms "missed" and "fail to understand" a lot when addressing us'n "posivols"...when you come from that place, it translates to our simple minds "if you were a little more intelligent we'd be exchanging email addresses"...a little name-calling is bound to leak out from such interchanges...ftr Doyle doesn't seem to have enough disdain for our program to be part of your club...maybe let him be treasurer

Well, I'm just talking about dismissing the SC game. If people are dismissing it or can't discuss it seperately from the Vandy disappointment, they are in the wrong, imo.

Let me try to explain where at least I am coming from on the SC game. Sure, it was a great great win at the time. I will admit again that I teared up a little when it happened. It felt like the corner had been turned and things were on the way up. I felt like Butch really did "get it" and I went all in. The next three games, while disappointing, did not make me lose faith. Then came the Vandy game...

To this day no one can convince me that we should have lost that game. Even with a third string QB. Even with injuries. With everything on the line in that game the Vols should have won. This game dampened my belief in this staff. It sent me back to wait and see mode. If this staff can get us where we want to be they need to show it. The recruiting is spectacular, now prove you can coach them up better than you did the players you inherited. I really don't see what is so wrong with this attitude and why it offends so many. We were burnt by our last two coaches, so does it not make sense to look at the next one with a "prove yourself" attitude?
