Second, this is a staff that has worked hard in recruiting. The staff has some excellent recruiters, such as defensive coordinator Corwin Brown. The prospects like these coaches, want to play for these coaches and help Notre Dame get back toward the top. That's a big reason the Irish were able to hold onto most of their commitments after struggling in 2007.

there is no greater influence on a recruit's decision that the coaching staff.
