The WRASSLIN’ Thread

That cutter was as good as some of Orton's by far.

A little late to the party about the PPV,but it sounded pretty good and the end results make sense for the most part. I can't multitask between college football and wrasslin' so I didn't watch. Two new women's champs and matches on the same PPV. Great to see. AEW is high on Storm after the much needed gimmick change.

Surprised about OC winning.... I've just never seen the hype. He's kind of like Darby to me in that regard. I'm curious to where they go with MJF and who finally takes the belt off of him. Joe,Warlow, somebody unexpected? I've heard that they might have resigned him and kept him away from WWE.

We could see at World's End. If he hasn't resigned, they'll take the belt off him. They might still do that, but they definitely won't leave it on him if he is about to enter free agency.

The women's Wargames match looks like makeshift match put at the last minute. We could see Damage Control turning on Bailey and a face turn from her. With Orton back, the men's match looks interesting. I might tune in Saturday after college football to check out the replay.

I havn't caught a WWE ppv in a second. But I always watch War Games. It's never fails to be entertaining.

Watching Dynamite. The Continental Tournament looks like it's going to be fun. Lots of interesting matches to come. I'm curious to see how the American audience takes to a G1 type format.
Absolutely stacked card that’s gonna gonna give us a ton of great matches. Need to see a few genuine upsets along the way too.

Rush vs Swerve? Yes, pls.

I absolutely love the format.

They had 3 great matches last night to start. None of them were matches I would have necessarily have asked for. But they were all great and immediately intriguing. I can't wait to see Brodi King vs Eddie and later Claudio.

I would like to see Jay White win the thing. I feel like he lost some momentum after losing to MJF the way he did at Full Gear.

This format that they're doing reminds me a lot of the Bound for Glory series TNA used to do. It's really cool.... I enjoyed the matches. It's a cool concept.

Found this. It's Drew McIntyres explanation that he's not a heel (or at least justified for turning)for costing Jey Uso the WWE Championship. He mentions Jey costing him the championship against Roman at Clash at the Castle a few years ago. I like the continuity of these storylines, and characters aren't black and white babyfaces and heels. They have a human element to them.

Really good list. It has some Women's teams on it as well.I can't disagree with the top spot with FTR or the top ten in general.

CM PUNK and Orton returning in the same night. Not a big Punk fan,but that was totally unexpected! Both Wargames matches were solid. I'm looking forward to seeing Smackdown now and where they go with Baley and Damage Control. The rest of the matches were filler. I wasn't too impressed with them. The men's Wargames was something. The RKO to JD was the best I've seen in some time. You have to trust Orton with that. Overall great show if you go in knowing what to expect.

I'll likely catch Survivor Series tomorrow. 1/2 suprised about Punk. I give him 6 months before he flames out or ends up on the shelf this time. WWE wants him for Mania, I'm sure.

I guess we known why Tony wanted to go head to head with A PPV tonight.
