Rampage was oddly good tonight.

Yuta vs The Butcher in the opener was particularly good. Yuta is a star in the making. He made Butch look great in that match.

The "speak and spell" gimmick with Shibata is brilliant.

The main event was a "serious wrestling competition".

That's what I was thinking while it went off. They're very good at long term storytelling. SummerSlam was living proof of that. That felt like a big time PLE/PPV that SummerSlam should be to begin with.

I wish AEW would learn that. They have great in-ring action, but they lack the cohesion that good storytelling brings. I've found out that it's the storytelling that I appreciate the most.

That was crazy during that part of the match. I thought he messed up his knee on the landing. He doesn't wrestle often,but when he does,it's a spectacle. I never thought highly of LA Knight in ring,but he held his own as well.
