"There's no telling how good they can be..."

My kids just got some vintage wear a month or so ago and are loving it. It is in fashion.

Yup. Now I just need GT to get it together Still have my Starter one for them also.

Those old things from the 90s actually look quite a bit better than some of the garbage out there today. Add in that they were generally much better made and more durable than the newer stuff.

Tillman or no Tillman, we can't be better offensively than we were Saturday--scoring 52 in regulation. That's pretty much topping out.
So to get better means being better defensively. It's fun to score 50, but you'd rather not HAVE TO to win a game.
Can’t be?? That’s not entirely true.
Keaton and Hooker missed on 2. Keaton has made some great catches but him and Hooker
Haven’t clicked like Hooker and Hyatt & Tillman.

Yes. Hopefully they drop another game this year. Hopefully this starts the slide that makes Saban retire soon. College football is growing weary of him.

I don't want him to retire too soon, I would like him to stick around for a few more a$$ whuppins.

The whole world is thanking us. Bama has been dominant during the Saban Era. They have been beaten, but not like this. They have dropped a game here, not won the NC there, lost a playoff game, but they have not lost like this. Rival field, last second, cigar smoke, Vol Navy, make them run for their lives fashion...and the thing is, we are the only team that could have done it. This Is one that they can't just shake off. The whole world was watching and they are thanking us.
I have diehard LSU friends and family members, all pulling for the Vols! Part of it is the arrogance of their fans. They aren’t rude per say, at least on the bus ride to the game and in the stadium, but condescending (pricks?). When they start losing 2 to 4 games a year, there will be a shortage of Xanax. Can’t wait to watch the meltdown and calls for Little Nicky’s head!

I made a comment about this team (offense) being "like" the Burrow led L.S.U. team..... and the more I see this team, the more confident I feel this team can accomplish the same thing as that one.
Everyone forgets because it was a shorter season but the Bama offense in 2020 was just as good as LSU, maybe better actually since they did it against a 10-game SEC schedule.

I think everyone agrees that college football is more fun when it’s not all of the same old teams winning.. that gets old 😂
I agree 100%, that’s why I’m pulling for us and Ole Miss in the SEC Championship game and then both teams make the playoff…sick of seeing Bama and Georgia in it every year

Agreed. The parallel I was trying to draw was, that to my recollection, L.S.U. wasn't in the discussion to win it all that year... that thier offense carried them to the National Championship game. I believe with a healthy Tillman, this offense can do the same.

For sure. LSU came out of “nowhere”. No one had any inkling they’d be that good. Their offense really hit their stride the second half of the year. And I know our fans are comparing us to them but I don’t think we can discount what they did as they played 6 of their last 10 games against top 10 teams. That’s pretty crazy. All 7 ranked teams they played that year were in the top 10 at the time.

Not saying any team will be able to do it today but we need to try every game

Lol. While I may appreciate the sentiment, there are a few things preventing this-

1. Like any good GT frat boy pledge, I had to know about that game lol. The other school basically had a team of scrubs playing that day. Basically an intramural team against GT.

2. Times have changed. You aren't "allowed" to really beat on teams anymore. The bleeding hearts get involved and you have a big PR mess. You ever see those high school teams that win games like 123-37 and then the coaches get fired the next day? Trust me, best off beating teams down like 60-13, hopefully getting no injuries and calling it a day.

It will be great to watch their inevitable decline, but part of me hopes Saban has a few good years left. I want more TSIO games like that. We talk a lot about how we’ve been down for 15 years, but the rivalry has been down for 30. I would love for Tennessee-Alabama to be the premiere regular season game in college football a few more years running. I want them to go 11-1 with their only loss to us for about 4 years, just to make the point that this is about Tennessee being back, not about Bama going down. Then, they have my permission to collapse.

big phil went 11-4 against them w/ 7 in a row.let's hope we do that again or better.

I got congrats from Boston, Columbus OH, Lexington, Guntersville, Dallas, etc. Saban and Bama have created a level of disdain maybe not seen in college sports before. Notre Dame is a national brand with many detractors. However, Bama is regional but has been so over exposed and has created a fan base that is so arrogant and spoiled that it has no grasp of reality.

yep and half of them are bama fakes...follow whoever is winning at the moment.

That Alabama win was monumental, in and of itself. Shot heard round the world. It will pay dividends for several years... Particularly in recruiting.

AND THE BONUS IS THEIR TEAM AND FAN BASE STILL AIN'T OVER IT .... AND Miss. State throws the ball all over the place, if they don't watch it they'll lose to both Mississippi teams teams year.
