🤣🤣🤣 low.

We get F45 when it shuts off early before the cycle is finished.
For the F45 code. Summary of Possibilities from below reading: 1) Clogged exhaust vent 2) Loose wire connections between Main Control Board(#6 on exploded view in link below) & Blower Motor Control Board (#17 on exploded view in link below) 3) Failed blower motor control board (#17 on exploded view in link below)

Sears link below shows exploded view of parts

Video shows how to remove & open the control panel

Might seem like a lot but it's really not

This is a copy & paste.

On this type of dryer the F45 indicates a Blower Motor Control Board Speed Sensor error. This can be caused by a clogged exhaust vent. I recommend checking this issue first.
You can disconnect the flexible vent behind the dryer and let it vent directly into the laundry room. If the dryer runs normally and does not display the F45 error code, then you likely have a clogged or restricted exhaust vent to the outside of the home that is causing this problem

If you still get the F45 code with the dryer venting directly into the room, you could have the following problems:

Restriction or clog in the blower housing.

Loose wire harness connection between the main control board (#6 on exploded view link below) and the blower motor control board(#17 on exploded view link below)
.

Loose wire harness connection between the blower motor control board (#17 on exploded view in link below) and the blower motor.

Defective blower motor.

Failed blower motor control board. (#17 on exploded view in link below)

Here are some troubleshooting tips to check for these types of failures:

Check the air flow out of the exhaust vent at the back of the dryer.

Unplug the dryer

and check for restrictions and lint buildup inside the vent on the back of the dryer.

NOTE: Be careful, metal edges on the dryer can be sharp.

Check the wire harness connections between the main electronic control board (#6 on exploded view in link below) and the blower motor control board(#17 on exploded view in link below) in the console of the dryer _(with the dryer still unplugged)._ The first image below describes the procedure for accessing the control boards in the console. Unplug and replug the wiring connections between the control boards to make sure that they are secure. Reassemble the dryer and test it. If it runs properly, then a loose connection could have been causing your problem.

I’m having a really hard time finding a 3/4 or full divided lites single door for the sunroom to open to the remodeled deck.

Are doors as hard to find as just lumber in general??

There were 32 and 36 single doors half and full light with interior blinds at Home Depot this morning.

I read a lot on your type Kenmore Oasis dyer while searching for “starting on its own”. When they first came out they were throwing F45 codes with about every unit & the field service techs didn’t know the procedure to clear them. Whirlpool, who makes it, upgraded the software on the 2 electronic boards & that fixed it. I don’t know if yours has the newer boards.

I’m stuck at what’s actually wrong with yours. My assessment for you from everything I read is that it can be fixed. If it were mine, I’d start by checking the wire connections on the boards & cleaning the exhaust pipe & exhaust shute connected to the house. Dryers produce a lot of lint. If that didn’t work, I’d replace the 2 boards with refurbished ones. I do not know how to test them & don’t want to know. They are too complex for me. The boards do a lot & their purpose is to tell everything the dyer does what to do. Boards “might” not fix all the issues but it would eliminate some & I’d go from there. If the thing still started on its own, then I’d be looking at the 3 things that make it start: the push button start switch, the timer & the door switch.

I realize that fixing things is not for everybody & replacing is sometimes the better option. I fix stuff because I can. Don’t always know what I’m doing but I usually can figure it out. Sorry I couldn’t help more but at least we found a starting point. Hope you can get it taken care of. Hollar at me if you think I can help you anymore with it

I just came to post that it started beeping, whole panel is flashing, and it had an F29 code. lol

I don't know if hubby will take it apart (he likes the challenge), or if we'll just replace it.

The F29 code is for the moisture sensor. Not a big deal to replace. Let T man know that dryer is a tool you use daily to keep him looking good!!

Here’s the F29 code stuff:
Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F29
Error Condition = Moisture Sensor Fail
Check or Repair Needed = Remove power from the dryer. Check the wiring harness on the moisture sensor visually and with a multi-meter. If the wiring connections are okay then replace the moisture sensor.

Dryer moisture sensor bar. This moisture sensor monitors the clothing’s moisture level and sends a signal to the control board when the clothes are dry. If your moisture sensor is defective, the dryer may shut off too early or continue running for a while after the clothes are dry. Two required.

Tell me what's going on with it & a model number. Is it still making ice? Could you get ice out the door before it stopped working?

Darned sideways pics… First, it’s a 10-yr-old Whirlpool Gold side-by-side fridge. Mod. GSC25C5EYY00. The ice maker worked without fail until a couple of months ago. I removed the bin, cleaned it, put it back in place. No ice production. Checked, ice maker is turned on.

FWIW, Water dispenses from the door.

My wife reminded me that we replaced the Amana with the Whirlpool when we remodeled the kitchen 10 years ago. 🤪

You have corn?

Yeah, but the ears grew so big that I even can't lift with them grapple.

Not really. A herd of Canadian geese descended on my pond this spring. Shortly thereafter my corn came up and they proceeded to mow it down to ground level. And what them missed, the coyotes took care of. I just went ahead and laid the disc harrow to what was left of the corn patch.
