While we are still waiting on the kitchen cabinets (delayed again, fml!), we decided to update the half bath a little. Got the tough baseboards in and the farm rail around as well as the farm style frame around the door.

Not cinder block with a brick facade….but brick. Thousands of bricks

I finally saw what Behr was talking about (floor of the shower.) I’ve seen those before, or their twin - they’re 12x12-ish pieces with mesh underneath that holds the individual stones together. We used something similar for our bathroom floor, which YES, NEEDS MOPPING, although ours is basketweave. Also for the shower walls. Goes up hella faster than stone by stone. Cheaper, too.

They’re beautiful, and the color is perfect with the cherry(?) cabs. Also his shirt.

I have mixed feelings about fireplace demo. I favor rehabilitation, but that ain't my house, and you're doing the job you're hired to do. Two thumbs up on completing the task.
