Things built, torn down and other projects.(Pictures)

That’s the 12v kit which is fine but the batteries won’t last long between charging if you’re on a longer project. Lowes has the 18v kit for 149$ right now View attachment 437260
He has a set like that but they're too big for my "projects". I use the screw gun to fix cabinet hinges, unscrew screws on fans, hanging shelves etc. I can't ever remember using the impact. But I HAVE ONE!!!! Lol.

I’m not being snarky……I’m really not, I promise……. The impact is the screw gun. The other gun is the drill. One has an adjustable chuck to allow for different size drill bits. The other has a quick release as all the shanks on nut the screw and nut bits are the same size. The impact driver is better for running screws because it clutches/hammers as the screw gets tight which can prevent over tightening/stripping the hole out.

if you start using the impact you’ll almost never use the drill again unless you want to make pilot holes for the screws.

Edit: but that’s a very good set for most home owners.

I know you're not being snarking, but I don't care anyway. Josh, my friend, he was the one that was with me when I met Thrasher and Ariel at the beach. He told me the same thing, but old habits are hard to brake. When we're together he knows if he wants me to hand him a drill he asks for the screw gun. I got used to useing the wrong tool and it's more comfortable than the right one.

If it works it works.

The Bosch drill that I call a screw gun gets into some places better than the impact and just feels better in my hand. Worded that way for obvious reason.

Changing the subject kinda, Josh had one of those yellow Dewalt radios. All I can say is that thing was/is awesomeness!!

I have one that charges my phone 4 batteries and plays the Bluetooth and you can plug extension cords into it. it was a gift from the dewalt rep. I don’t think they sell it but it is awesome

If I were building a power tool kit from the ground up I'd personally go with Flex, they're damned impressive. Of course I'm balls deep in M18 stuff so I'm locked in, not complaining though

Half my stuff is flex now.
I’m so deep in dewalt that I’m never getting out. Lol
